Between the lighting being the same as when Felix punched Waru & what Waru said here (Big deal, the genre has slowed down, consider it an evolution), it's likely that this scene takes place in "Clones Create A Cartoon" & Waru ended up sabotaging Felix's cartoon, which is why Felix punches Waru.
It would likely be a dramatic scene either cuz Felix ends up shattering Waru's glasses or cuz it came off the heels of Waru's Day, which will likely show a more vulnerable side of Waru.
I do feel like they WILL patch up eventually, either at the end of episode 4 or in a future episode based on Dante’s "The Storm has weathered" line.

Also, how did he end up outside of the Card World? Can he just leave whenever he wants at night? Or did someone like Waru ultimately make a deal with him after all?
OK, I just noticed, Joker is actually transparent in the 2nd shot, meaning he didn't actually leave the Card World as of yet, & it's likely just him taking on the form of someone's reflection.
TBH, I feel like BOTH Joker scenes are from episode 1 of season 2
Also, I may add that, if/when Joker leaves the Card World, he would actually have a physical appearance beyond just a walking shadow. with clothes on. We will see his blue eyes & green hair.

I noticed from the trailer that, aside from in front of the computer & a couple shots in the sunset, Waru doesn’t appear AT ALL in the trailer, then again “his evolution of a genre” indicates that he is in the cartoon episode.
Also, the clones that joker messed with are either hiding in the closet from Joker or Waru/Gabriel trapped them in the closet on Joker’s request.
Also, Joker didn’t show up at all in the season 1 trailer, so it is likely that the Queens will be more of a surprise that will be shown later on in season two, much like Joker was in season 1.
