Elder Wand - Harry Potter

Been on a bit of a Harry Potter marathon as of late! I looked at the wands online and thought “I can’t really get one of those online now can I?” So I went out to the workshop, grabbed some hickory and went to work at the belt grinder!

A couple of hours later I emerged wand in hand covered in dead tree carcass! I have to say it turned out quite nice. I’m particularly proud of the three tumour looking things on the far end of the shaft. Being careful not to remove too much material during my initial shaping.

I hope all of you enjoy it as much as I do! Personally I can’t stop waving the thing around and pointing it at people!

Been messing around with copper a bit the past few weeks! It’s an awesome material, that work hardening really is something special.

I’ve been trying to think up something pretty to make with the copper I’ve got on hand, and I’ve landed on these hammer patterned mini bracelet things 🤔 Not advanced in any way, but I really quite fancy them!
