Percy is a hella good child. He obviously helped his mom when she was pregnant. And cares for Sally and Essie.

Annabeth is important to Sally but not as important as her own son. Yet there are fanfics where Sally doesnt allow Percy to babysit alone, but trusts Annabeth when im pretty sure she has like 0 experience with newborns

Imagine if your own motherrrrr said “i dont trust you with your own sister, even though you have shown me no reason to doubt you. But but I do trust your significant other with your sis more.”

But his attitude can be taken the wrong way. Take it in the context of the person on the receiving end of his attitude. It hurts them, while you call it sAvAgEnEsS or sArCaSm.

Not saying its a bad thing. But everyone is quick to paint Annabeth as the bitch when Percy deffo has some rude traits as well. That nobody wants to acknowledge.

Lowkey feel like Annabeth and Piper would think they’re better than people who wear makeup.

Like in HOO, Piper was like “eww supermodels, ew makeup, ew Aphrodite” and in TOA it was never addressed if she thinks the same way (obvio since shes not the main character)

And Annabeth for sure, thinks shes better than girls who dress well, and wear makeup.

I dont 100% hate these characters. Its just something I think will happen.

Percy is one sassy motherfucker. And hes a Leo.

He definitely loves those trashy YA shows with so much drama. (Gossip girl, one tree hill, elite etccc) And any reality tv show as well.

Rich kid with problems is definitely his fav. genre.

And Annabeths all like “who am i dating” because she loves old movies and documentaries.

And then he introduces Hazel to this and shes like “oh my god, why didnt I know about this sooner” while she and percy sit on the couch sharing popcorn and watching Blair sabotage Serena.

Truthfully the concept of HOO is wonderful. Like they’re these 2 powerful camps and theres the switch between percy and jason. Theres these powerful characters. Annabeths quest. Tartarus.

Howeverrr... I feel like it could be written better. Like dont get me wrong, some scenes were amazing but it lacked a lot too.

It could have easily topped PJO if it had more depth.
