Courage/Travis Dell/Chapter 3 FREE-TIME Rex

Rex just left his room after this long trial. His hair was still wet after he took a shower, but it was still fluffy as always and he had it brushed back. He walked into the common room and smiled at the person sitting there. He added a little bit of firewood to the fire and listened to the crackling noise and took a little while to reply to the person, but he finally did.

“Hello… I haven’t met you yet, but I am very glad to meet you. My name is Rex Coleman, I am the SHSL Archaeologist. It is an honor to meet you.”

Rex offered his hand for a handshake and smiled at the other person. He was mostly in peace right now. The death of the other students didn’t affect him as heavily as the others.

“What are you up too?”

Travis blinked and stared at Rex’ hand, before awkwardly taking his hand out of his cloak and giving him a firm shake. The attorney put on a little smile and nodded. This was probably the first time he has really looked happy and normal in forever…

“An…honor to meet me? (Not sure if that’s just how he greets people, or that I’m actually a cool defense attorney…hmmm)”

The boy re-adjusted his sitting position and sighed. He grabbed a cup of coffee that was on a coffee table by the arm of the couch and took a sip, before continuing his sentence.

“Just…chilling. And waiting. Waiting for someone to save us.” 

He said that in a very….blunt matter. Well, he’s just being honest.

“Man…that last  trial was something, huh? T-thanks for…you know, pointing out that thing about Mari…”

Rex was just smiling like he always did. He didn’t seem to be affected by any negative things what so ever. He was just a tall, smiling dork. Though his expression changed a bit when Travis talked about ‘saving them’. “Yeah, it would be nice for someone to save us. But for now we gotta stay together. Be friends, you know?”

Rex tried to get the thoughts out of his head. There was this thought of his old friend, but he tried to forget and he did again. He needed to focus. For himself and everyone around him. “Yeah the last trial was really interesting to follow... I just pay attention until I can point out flaws, that’s what I do. But away from that topic... What are your hobbies, Travis?”

"….."

Travis was hanging out by the fireplace of the Gryffindor room. After the trial ended, the boy had put on his cloak and retreated into his room. He watched the fire in front of him and sighed, wondering what there was to do now. Investigate? He wasn’t really feeling it now…

"…..*yawn*"

He made himself comfortable on the couch he was sitting on and nearly fell asleep when he suddenly heard someone else come in. Was this…oh, that was Rex, the person that pointed out something about Mari in that trial…

"E-erm, um, Hey."

He gave a friendly wave and cleared his throat.

"Just hanging out here…"

This day was gross. Too gross. So gross infact, that upon seeing the dead body, Liling left almost immediately, guilt pulsing through their body. It wasn’t that the blood or the body was too much it was more the realization that anyone - friend or enemy - could disappear at any minute. Sudden loss was something Liling was all too familiar about, and it felt pretty awful. 

Their immediate escape had led them to the outer courtyard, where they sat themselves on a bench, head in hands. They were nearly in tears, and the only thing that made them stop and look up was the realization someone was approaching them. 

"Uh.. hi..?"

Liling wasn’t entirely sure they could deal with this right now.

Rex had just been chilling outside in the courtyard and looking at the trees and the nature. He was asking himself where Aiko was, but he figured he would just enjoy the moment for now on his own... until someone entered the courtyard and sat down on a bench. Their head in their face. Rex was worried. He heared about what happened, that 'body discovery', but he didn't want to pay too much attention to it. He needed to stay focused. So he walked towards that person and kneeled down in front of them.

"Hello! My name is Rex Coleman. You look upset, can I help you in some way?"

Lovely Pets~! | Aiko Tsukino | Closed for Rex Coleman

After interacting with some of her cabin mates and finding her new cat she decided she wanted to show her new pet to her boyfriend, Rex. She hugged the fluffy ginger cat and scratched behind its ears. She was ecstatic to find it’s chest made a white heart shape and a white crescent shaped moon was on its forehead.

"You are the cutest! I need to think of a name for you… Hmm… You are cute and make my heart beat… Oh! Kokoro! That’s a cute name! Maybe Koko for short~ I can’t wait to show you off to Rex!"

She kissed the feline on top of its head and was happy to hear it purring. She then opened the cabin door and walked down the hall searching for Rex. She listened hard to see if she could hear him talking or laughing.

After Rex finished talking to a couple of people in his cabin he decided to get some sweets from the candy shop, so he walked out of the room and bumped into someone who was standing right at the door. He quickly noticed it was his lovely girlfriend: Aiko Tsukino. "Watch out where you are going, young lady.~" Rex said teasingly and hugged her tightly. "I'm so glad we are going here together. I wondered where you were, it's like you were able to hear me thinking about you." He gave her a quick kiss and took her hand. "I was about to get some candy and check where my pet is. You want to join me, sweetheart?"

One last letter...

Before he entered the capsule again to finish off the game he had done Rex tried to be as normal as possible. To leave a letter for the players of his game to read. Everything he felt about them. 'Dear Students, Players, Friends and loved ones, This is a letter to each and everyone who played this game. I'm trying to stay as normal as possible, trying to ignore the despair just for this letter. Akiko. I did not get to know you at all, I'm sorry. I wish we could have become friends or atleast talk one time, but it didn't seem to work. I hope you will have a nice life after all of this. Alexander. I can't say too much about you, but I didn't really like you. Your way of acting was just not really nice and try to think about what you did to David when you threw that knife. Makida. Well I totally enjoyed your execution, I'm glad it was only in the game though. You and Mai shall have a wonderful life. You're going to be a good mommy one day. Alice. You were the best friend of my girlfriend. You took care of her and I wanted to say Thank you. I hope you and David will have a lot of fun in your life together. I hope you two will be happy for a long time. Isaki. I got to know you for a little, played Basketball with you and you were a cool guy. I hope you'll get back to playing basketball and get better and better. Everyone shall remember you as the best Basketball Player on this planet. Atil. I was sad I only got to talk to you for a little bit and I was sad when i had to see you being executed. You were a great friend, even though we did not talk too much. Have a nice life, i guess we won't travel the world together then... Hideo. You're a jerk, but a good one. You were able to make a point whenever you needed to, I'm glad I got to know you. I hope you and Hotaru will be happy for a long time. Mai. You were my first 'friend' on this school but we didn't talk after that. You are a great dancer and you'll win a lot of tournaments in the future. Also you have a nice partner, i hope you and Makida will be happy. Annett. I didn't got to talk to you at all, but you were close to Aiko. I hope you are still able to make Aiko happy from now on. You two would be the best friends ever. Also thank you for making that nice dress for Aiko, it looked great. Fumeiro. I only got to talk to you once, but you're cool. You followed me on my way to my room when i was pissed because of Alexander. Have a lot of fun as an Actor. David. I'm sorry about your arm in the game, atleast you still have it in the real word. Kidding... I don't know too much about you, but you wanted to escape so badly and you've earned it the most to be out of there. Have a nice life with Alice. Hotaru. You were one of my greatest friends and I'm sorry about everything that happened. I hope you will forgive me even though I'll probably never wake up again. Please take care of Aiko, i beg you. Also please take care of Hideo too, be happy with him. Aiko... Aiko I love you. I'm sorry all of this happened and I wish... I really wish we could be happy. We could be a happy couple but this game wasn't the right place. If I ever get out of the pod please forgive me. Let us talk then, please... I love you so much, seeing the kiss in the game actually made me happy. You are the most beautiful person on this planet, Aiko. If you want to get to out of here... I guess you have to find the keys to the control room or something, i don't even know where they are.' Rex folds the letter a couple of times and places it somewhere in the Pod room. Then snapping again and looking at the pod he's going to enter in a second.

Explosion of Emotions [Aiko x Rex]

"Don’t worry about a bug, a quick-" with that Rex crushes a bug between his fingers. "And its gone… They can’t do anything to you, just stay calm, sweetheart!" Rex kisses Aiko’s cheek and continous walking until he seems something between all the bushes and trees. "Look, you were just talking about it… A waterfall with a little lake." Rex hurried a bit, he always liked those places, just sitting at the waterfall or jumping into the fresh and cold water. "Maybe there will even be a secret behind the Waterfall." Rex giggled, even though he already found a treassure behind a waterfall, but he just left it there, maybe it belonged to someone.

Aiko winced when she saw Rex kill the bug. She couldn’t stand the squishing sound they made when they died. She did calm down a bit when he kissed her and kept following closely behind him. When they saw the opening of fresh water she gasped excitedly. “Oh wow! It’s beautiful!” She ran up ahead of Rex to look over the edge to see the water. She could see a worn path they could take to reach the bottom and there seemed to be a small clearing near the water’s edge perfect for a picnic spot. “Rex, do you want to explore here for a while? We could eat some of the snacks I packed too!” She ran up to him with a glowing smile, excited to have found the waterfall area. “Also…” She looked at the pack briefly and back at Rex and gave him a wink. “If the water’s nice we could go for a dip as well!” It had been a while since the two of them had swam together, Aiko really did love the water.

"I would love to eat something here, it's very nice hear and the fact that you are here makes this even better~" Rex smiles at the girl and continues to walk to the water until he dips his one of his feet into the water for a second "Ahhhh, so refreshing. I would love to go for a dip with you." Rex winks back. "But first let's have our little picnic, right? I always wanted to have a picnic at a waterfall in a jungle with the person i one day will fall in love with and now my dream became true." Rex smiled in excitemend, raised her chin with one of his fingers a little and kissed her softly. "Thank you, sweetheart. This is going to be the best day ever."

"I think this was enough of an adventure here, I got out of this with a lot of luck, sweetie!" Rex looked into her eyes trying to think of what they could do next. He kissed the girl softly once again deeply until they fell asleep together, still hugging. "Good Night, I love you." Rex whispered into her ear a last time.

________________________________ "Ahhhhh those plants are annoying." Rex was fighting his way through the plants in front of him, holding Aiko’s Hand with the Hand that was not holding the Machete. "This Jungle is beautiful though, i think we’re on the Brazilian side… But we will see what this Jungle will reveal for this adventure."

Aiko was walking along hand-in-hand with Rex in the deep jungle. The tropical environment was a nice change compared to the frozen tundra of Russia, but she had to admit it was a bit warmer than she liked. She swatted at a bug that flew around her face. “The plants don’t bother me… The bugs though… Please don’t let us encounter any spiders Rex.” She whimpered. Aiko hated spiders and creepy crawly bugs in general. She followed him closely as she looked at the color plants they passed by. “Do you think we’ll find a waterfall lake area we can swim in?” She asked. She had always wanted to swim in a freshwater area like that.
