Shooters keep shooting ink while you hold the button which makes them straightforward and easy to handle. They are adaptable to handling any type of Salmonid or situation.
Rollers can roll ink along the ground or spatter it at nearby foes. They're great at attacking multiple Salmonids at once.
Chargers release long shots when you charge them up. At maximum they can actually penetrate through Salmonids, so try to hit foes that are arranged into straight lines.
Sloshers spill a lot of ink and excel at dealing with groups of Salmonids. They are also great at hitting foes on higher ground or behind obstacles.
Splatlings charge up and then unleash rapid fire in the blink of an eye. Their overwhelming power is worth the wait of charging up.
Dualies offer high maneuverability. With one in each hand, you can execute a high-speed roll to dodge Salmonids and reposition while shooting.
Brellas have both offensive and defensive capabilities. Press the fire button to shoot ink, and hold it down to open the umbrella and protect yourself. If you keep holding the button, you can launch the umbrella forward.
Blasters shoot ink that explodes in the air. The explosion hits a big area, so aim for groups of Salmonids!
