i think the marvel vs dc conversation is bad because they're very different animals and i think its very obvious in how they approach the avengers and the justice league, even if you compare it between dceu and mcu, because at the end of the day superheroes in marvel seem to be allied with the governemtn regardless of their cause, like shield and avengers seem to be deeply connected in both fucntion and system because they're lead by a military guy and then the league in itself is funny because literally no one gets paid, they consider it volunteer work, that they operate outside of the planet so they would not be beholden to one state

Milano

Affiliation: the Ravagers, Guardians of the Galaxy.

Size: its disadvantage is the small space inside for the ship's crew.

Timeline (in use): from GotG 1 to GotG vol 2 (~1990/91 - fall of 2014).

Notable events: The Battle of Xandar, during which the ship was practically destroyed and later rebuilt by the Nova Corps.

Fate: heavily damaged during a hard landing on the planet Berhert and abandoned after Rocket was kidnapped by rebel Ravagers.

Quadrant

Affiliation: the Ravagers, Guardians of the Galaxy.

Timeline (in use): from GotG vol 2 to I am Groot (fall of 2014 - ~beginning of 2018).

Notable events: the Ravagers' mutiny (it was one of the detachable sectors of the Ravagers' ship the Eclector); the Battle on Ego's Planet.

Fate: unknown. During Groot's childhood and teenage years, it was used interchangeably with the Benatar.

Benatar

Affiliation: Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers, Asgardians of the Galaxy.

Size: larger than the Milano, but smaller than its successor the Bowie.

Timeline (in use): from I am Groot to Thor: Love and Thunder (~late 2014 - ~2024).

Notable events: this is the ship that Tony and Nebula were stranded on in space after Thanos' snap.

Fate: replaced by the Bowie as the main ship and placed in the garage (at least until the Bowie was partially destroyed). Possibly used by the new GotG or by Quill on Earth.

Bowie

Affiliation: Guardians of the Galaxy.

Timeline (in use): from GotG Holiday Special to GotG vol 3 (~2025 - ~2026).

Notable events: this ship was used to abduct Kevin Bacon from Earth.

Fate: its cockpit was destroyed during the final confrontation with High Evolutionary, leaving it a drifting space station.
