Okay, very useless yap incoming but this is the coolest and most terrifying thing I have seen in my entire life
The first thing I want to point out is how everyone including aether looks so terrifying, the traveler looks so beat up but paimon... Paimon looks so... Normal? She doesn't have the same lighting even, she's bright... As if that's not ominous at all
Mondstadt: somehow the one I found the least terrifying mainly cuz it only keeps getting worse, but the whole "he sowes discord around tevyat" is sooo fjbdhakwk like especially in consideration to how fontaine and natlan work, how many people were punished by "justice" because of him? How many "wars" do you think he started?
More Shen Jiu 💚
"drag path" but it's me creating a whole high fantasy world without any knowledge just to give justice to my OCs

I see a lot of people saying that the scene with Jax is about him reacting this way because it just dawned on him that everything was real. And am I the only one who doesn't think that was the reason? Or at least not the whole reason?
I mean, his coping mechanism is definitely telling himself it's just a game. But Kinger didn't say anything particularly revealing other than he was involved in Caine's creation, so I don't understand why Jax would realize it at this exact moment. Unless he knew something more. I don't know what it could be, and it doesn't even have to be that important. I just feel like there's more to it.
I also think it's a little odd that it happened right when they were talking about Scratch. But I might be making things up here. Honestly, episode 8 turned my brain into mush and I'm not sure if any of the thoughts coming out of my head make sense.
A while ago I saw a TikTok on my fyp where someone was talking about how they don't like it when authors change the story or add things after a while and do it by posting on social media or writing a sequel, where suddenly it turns out that things don't work the way they were described how they worked before. And I kinda agree with them. As a writer, I understand that after a while, we see better ways to write a story. This is normal. We gain more experience over time, but once a story has been written and published, we should let it be what it is. Attempting to fix mistakes will often only create plot holes.
But they gave the new extra story in svsss as an example and I don't think it's a good example. They claim they don't consider the new chapter canon because it's either unpublished or because it changes something in the published story (I don't remember exactly and can't find it). And okay, I haven't read it yet, but from what I've heard, it doesn't change anything, quite the opposite it answers and clarifies a few things (and I would be very grateful if someone could tell me if it's true).
But let's get to the point. I want to ask, where is the line between what's canon and what's not in this case? Especially since SVSSS was originally a web series. And that's a completely different process than writing a book for publication. Normal books don't usually have additional stories. And they often come after the main story is written. So, should these additional stories be non-canon? But isn't the entirety of volume 4 simply a collection of extra stories? Are they canon and the new one is not just because it didn't get published?

Ning Yingying loves her Shizun. She has the privilege of being the person who spends the most time with him, and she takes pride in being able to understand him better than anyone else!
That's why she notices Shizun is lashing out from his own pain.
The pieces of a puzzle came together and formed a picture Ning Yingying didn't like. Shizun often had qi deviations and it was somehow related to his childhood. Shizun didn't just dislike men, he was afraid of men. It's said that Shizun and the Sect Leader had known each other before they had even joined the sect. Shizun was more likely to have qi deviations after the Sect Leader visits him. The Sect Leader liked to send gifts that Shizun called empty apologies.
If a Sect Leader commits a crime, who is it supposed to be reported to? The other Peak Lords did not like Shen Qingqiu. The differences in reputation between Yue Qingyuan and Shen Qingqiu made it clear who would be believed.
Ning Yingying couldn't think of any other option.
Shen Qingqiu is woken up one night to the urgent message that Ning Yingying, his thirteen-year-old disciple, had attempted to murder the Sect Leader. Ning Yingying is refusing to take a truth potion unless Yue Qingyuan takes it too.
