so i literally dont know if anyone's brought it up but one of my favourite things abt ni no kuni (and i don't know if this was an intentional thing, i assume it would be but) is the fact that cassiopeia and shadar are named after the cassiopeia constelliation and the shadar star

(shadar apparently is a common mispelling, its either spelt as shedar or schedar) but its the most constant and important star in her constelliation, just like how shadar is the most promiment role in cassiopeia's plan as the white witch, and her relationship w the other characters, along with his relationship w her and how he came to be the villain the world known him as, and that his identity without her is his real name and how her identity with him is Not her real name.

hope that makes sense, just thought it was cool :) stars + cool video game = slime explosion

I wonder how long it took for the gang to drag Oliver's unconcious body back to Perdida after the soulsnare. No veil no levitate no arrow of light no nothing. Hold on guys before we start the fight we have to find a place to lay Oliver down that isn't a poisonous puddle but also won't be a tripping hazard. Who is carrying him. I know these bitches would've been dead within the minute.

god i wish we could have seen more of the aftermath of oliver opening the soulsnare. more of his flashbacks. more of that fearful grief drippy, esther and swaine feel. i wish we like couldve played as esther longer, or even all three, just to get in their heads.

I LOVE HOW ALL OF THEM HANDLE THE GRIEF TOO. esther stays busy. drippy doesnt leave oliver's side. swaine cant stand to see oliver the way he is.
