This blog follows the lives of 10 royal families (yet!) on the simtinent of Nauc, and I will tell the story through personal POVs as well as journalistic POVs.
Some facts about the blog:
Each royal family is placed in a different sim world, each world being inspired from a country in real life.
Some countries/royals have fashion based on a certain era, although existing in a modern (-ish?) setting.
Since the number of characters are already a lot to begin with, I have removed redundant characters (more than one dukes, earls, etc.) and tried to limit the number of sims as much as the story would allow.
The story endeavours to follow mostly the personal lives, trials and tribulations of the characters through their eyes, rather than the eyes of the media, although the role of the media is still pretty significant in the story.
A range of different cultures, nations and traditions inspire the story, characters and the setting. Nevertheless, it is still a work of fiction, and is not meant to offend the sentiments of anyone, or give an accurate depiction of history.
I know I’m taking a really long time to get started with the story, but my damn OCD won’t let me start until I work out all the background information required by the story first.
I’ll start with the basic introductions soon, although, it’s gonna take some time, but I’ll try to put up the pages for more elaborate descriptions, histories and backgrounds as quickly as possible so that I can finally start the story.

It has been a few weeks since my last post. This is because me and the very talented @annadedanann have been working to create some new Gothic items. This will be the first of at least a two part gothic set. We created at least 44 new items faster than expected and have decided to share the first set early.
Each item has been digitally recreated based on Parisian Gothic buildings.
Our new items are now available on our new Patreon page. We hope you enjoy our new set.
It's finally done, I present to you the Frederician Rococo Cabinet! It consists of a wallpaper, four new meshes (3 mirrors and a vault) and a recolor of Felixandre's Paris door. In total I have created 65 different swatches, including gold, silver, white, chinoiserie lacquer and various colour combinations! My goal was to create a decor that reflects the spirit of the Frederician Rococo. The focus is on asymmetrical rocaille and the element of water, which is found in the fountains over the doors and small springs that sprout from the walls.
It is my first set that I made completely from scratch with blender and gimp. All this would not have been possible without @itskingfalcon, who helped me a lot whenever I had a question. Thank you for that!
Look, I know a good number of you are from the US and things aren't amazing there either, but my country is literally on the brink of collapse. So I'd love it if we could talk about that for a minute.

A second COVID wave has taken out the healthcare system. There are no more hospital beds. There's an oxygen shortage. There's a critical vaccine shortage. The Central Government has thrown its hands up and is passing the baton to the State Governments to do what they can.
There are over 16 million covid cases. A record 330,000 new cases reported yesterday - comparable to the US at its peak. 187,000 dead as of today.
There is no plan.
Mass cremations are taking place. The cremation grounds are running day and night and they are short on wood. People are watching their loved ones die while waiting for a hospital bed, and then they're unable to give them the proper burial rights.
Hospitals are overwhelmed. Patients are being confined, two to a bed. They're the lucky ones.
We are on the verge of people dying in the streets.
This is the second-most populous country in the world. The largest democracy. A country that encapsulates over 15,000 years of recorded human history and has endured everything from famine to invasion to colonisation.
We might be at the end. This might be the thing that does us in.
People are dying.
People are dying.
People are dying and there is no plan.
More good news? Variants are popping up. A double mutation strain has shown up. It is resistant to current vaccines. This will not go away. This is the devastation they warned of when the anti-maskers were out protesting the minor inconvenience of covering their face in public.
My country is on the verge of an emergency state. Our government has failed us. This is as dire a situation as it ever could be.
Look. I don't do much with my life. I write fics, some of you have read them and that's pretty much it. I spend my days with my head in the clouds because that's where I like to be.
But two days ago, my grandmother tested positive, had to be taken to hospital and the ambulance caught fire.
She barely made it to the urgent care she needs.
So, here I am, using whatever meager platform I have to cobble this request together. Because I have to do something.
Even a small amount of 5 or 7 or 10 of foreign currency will help a lot. Our government has essentially abandoned us. People have turned to social media for help. WhatsApp groups and DMs on twitter/insta is where we find help. Our helpline is a Google doc. Situation is so dire that hospitals are discharging patients due to lack of oxygen. Every night the same story, oxygen running out in hospitals, citizens running around to somehow arrange for oxygen with minutes to spare. Last night, we had manged to get oxygen to a hospital with 14min to spare.

Some of you in the US have asked what else you can do. I'm not the best person to answer this since I'm not from there, but I do know that Biden is being urged to ship supplies to India. Maybe a more informed person can chime in with how best you can help but calling your representative and registering your concern sounds like a good starting point.

The number of new cases has almost hit the 350,000 mark. The total number of covid cases in the country is just shy of 17 million. This is the situation as of 25 April 2021.
The active tally is nearing the 27-lakh mark .The country has so far administered 14,09,16,417 anti-Covid jabs
Things are dire. People are largely on their own now and help, if any, is yet to come.
President Biden is being urged to ease restrictions or remove to embargo on raw materials that could be critical in India's fight against the virus.
Just a while ago, the US government committed to helping with "a small supply of inputs and components from US companies for production of COVID-19 vaccines in India".

No one needs to die. Things are bad but Indian lives can still be saved without costing American ones.
We've been allies for decades.
We need your help.
Please, please, please find it in your heart to help.
Call your local representative and register your concern. Urge them to offer India aid by way of donating some of the vaccine stockpiles and removing the ban on raw material exports so lives can be saved.
Take this message to other platforms. Spread the word. Those of you on Twitter, please use your voice to promote #indianeedsoxygen.
Most importantly, DONATE WHERE YOU CAN. As little as 5 dollars can make a difference right now.

Here's a list of independent NGOs and charities that are largely accepting international donations. REMEMBER: OXYGEN is the need of the hour.
I've heard from multiple sources that the government-run PM CARES fund is not directing funds to where they're needed and while I don't have exact information, I would advise you to avoid this platform out of caution.
Some of you are rightly concerned about where your money is going.
Again, I do not represent any charity or NGO, am not affiliated with anyone and am not involved in any stage in the collection or distribution of your donations. I'm just a person doing whatever she can so please do a little bit of research to help you identify the best place to put your donation.
Charity Navigator is a good place to get a good overview of your NGOs.
