I like to imagine that when Financier first met Clotted Cream, and in the first few weeks of her working as his bodyguard, she was always slightly flustered around him but pushed away her feelings for him in order to stay professional, and eventually the crush disappeared, especially as he wasn’t fond of the idea of having a bodyguard and her being around all the time. However, when they grew closer and he could be himself around her more he realised that he did actually really like having her around, and almost immediately fell in love - and unlike Financier he had a hard time keeping his crush hidden

HR 9495 is going back up for voting. All non-profit orgs are in danger.

Under H.R. 9495, any tax-exempt organization that criticizes the government could have its status stripped away arbitrarily by a designation

The Committee on Rules is meeting at 1600 EST on 18 Nov 2024. The agenda includes HR 9495.

If this bill passes, the Secretary of the Treasury would have the power to strip any non-profit group of it's tax-exempt status with no due process.

If you are part of the fandom community and you are in America, please contact your reps and ask them to vote NO on HR 9495.

18 Nov it was brought in front of the Committee on Rules for review.

If HR 9495 goes for a vote again, it will likely only need a simple majority to pass.

HR 9495 is getting a floor vote on Thursday at 10 am ET. The bill would give the Trump administration unilateral and complete power to revoke the 501(c)3 status of any nonprofit he doesn’t like with no transparency or recourse, simply by saying, without evidence, they are affiliated with terrorism.

We urge US-based fans to contact your House representative as soon as possible to vote against this bill.
