When my husband was out with his friends for his best friends bachelor party, at some point, the groom said “hey we should get going, I want to make sure I get plenty of sleep so I can be helpful with venue prep tomorrow morning”.

His big brother made a comment about “pshhhh laaaame, I was in pajamas playing Call of Duty 20 minutes before my wedding, I didn’t help at all”

And apparently all the other guys in the party were immediately like “bruh what? You didnt help your own wife on the day you two were declaring your love? Bruh you weren’t excited to see the decorations and help put them up? These are a bunch of at the time bachelors themselves by the way. My husband was the only other married man in the car. But all these dudes went off on him and unequivocally supported the grooms decision to go home and rest.
