Why You Should Cut Your Hair Short
Two years ago I did a drastic change: I cut my hair really short. I had really long hair for almost all my life, until starting university. At that point my hair became really unhealthy and dry due to all the dye processes I made it go through. So I cut it just at the shoulders level, nothing really serious. But then the idea of having really short hair has been bugging me since.
Before starting my third year of university I did it! I finally cut my hair. I was off to the States for an exchange program and I really wanted my healthy black thick hair back. Let me tell you, it was a hard decision to make. Even my mom and the hairdresser advised me to keep them longer. But being the stubborn person I am, I already had my mind set. After a roller coaster of emotions I left the hair saloon feeling a totally different person and a uncertain smile on my face.
It took me a bit to adjust to this new style, but I didn't regret it at all. But I don't think I will ever cut them again, I miss my long hair and I think they soften my look. So if you are debating whether to cut you hair short, let me help you with listing few perks about having short hair.
Less time in the shower.
No need to blow dry.
Less time to style it.
Good look with any sort of hat.
Really comfortable for the summer.
The only disadvantage I had was in letting them grow back again, because when they reached a length that they just do whatever they want, mainly because I have really thick hair.
Let me know if you had similar or completely different experience with short haircuts.

Artificial Wetland - Two Seasons
The climate in all of Colombia can be considered “tropical,” but the weather is not always consistent year after year. Bogota sees most of its rainfall during the summer months, even though it can rain during any month of the year. Primarily, however, April and May usually have the highest amounts of rain, with June and July following. December, January and February are traditionally the months when it rains the least.
Because of the presence of only two seasons the city and the nature change their aspects throughout the year.
During the dry season the wetland and the river will carry less water but thanks to the artificial structure of the wetland it will always have enough water to sustain the plants and attract the birds.
Instead during the wet season the smaller area of the wetland will be used as a system to protect the city from floods coming from the river.

Scared About the Future
Since I was a child I’ve been fascinated about buildings, especially skyscrapers. I always wondered how constructions so tall could stand without falling apart and how were they built. I would imagine every single material used and it seemed almost magical to me that those all combined would eventually produce such great architectures.
So when it came the time to choose a degree it was obvious: architecture.
After three years of university unfortunately my mind changed. My love for architecture faded and I started to have doubts about my future.

Love them! :)
