CONGRATULATIONS!

Today marks the day when I finished all of my requirements for this semester. Academic year is done! I'm finally ending my freshmen year, yay! This year had been a lot of experiments. This year's my first college year and it so happened that I had it remotely. It is also my first time in online classes. This academic year's not that good for me but I finished it. Finally!

To all the students out there who are in their finals week, as well as to those who are also finished with their academic year, CONGRATULATIONS to all of us. We made it up to here. We can finally rest, reset, and restart. This academic year had been stressful and hard but we all nailed it so we all deserve a good break and a peaceful sleep 😌 so as to be ready for the next acad year.

Have you ever had those nights when you feel so uncomfortable in your own bed? Like, when you move to switch position, school works, and all the things that SHOULD be done instantly pops out of your head. The time when you really want and need a good and peaceful sleep but you just can't have even just a tiny bit of it, because even when you try to sleep it haunts you and kills you inside. That's sad and terrifying to be honest. It always happen to me when major exams are just few weeks away.

On the other hand, no matter how tall your mountain of works are, just please do everything you could to still be healthy and hydrated. Take enough breaks for every time you study. Once you finished a paragraph or a stanza or whatever small part of what you're doing is, pause and drink your water. Every time you've accomplished a task, take a good rest and feed your interest. Try to be as healthy as you could be because how will you be able to study if you're feeling sick right?

DEFENSE DAY

It's the day of our defense, and my setup might be a little different today than it was the other day. I wanted to give a presentation and occupy the bedroom so that I wouldn't be interrupted in the middle of it. And it's a job well done; we're through the Research and Defense phase ✨

I also crammed for our reaction paper for my other class it's due at exactly 1700 today, but I finished and passed it 4 mins before its deadline hihi ✨ Today's my only time to focus on other matters as I was busy with the research. I'm scared to fail any of my classes and it's one of the major projects for that class, so I crammed. Don't be like me 🤣

I hope y'all are doing fine there. I still have a couple more to do before this sem is over, how about you?

1 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞

Since I forgot to stay hydrated yesterday due to two cups of coffee, I decided not to drink coffee today and instead drink more water. Please don't make the same mistake as me and forget to drink plenty of water, particularly if you live in a tropical country.

And, yes, today is the last day of preparing for our research panel defense. Is there anybody else here doing theirs as well? I hope you're not under a lot of pressure. Let's just hope that Lady Luck is on our side. 🍀

Didn't do much today. I only sat in front of my laptop to finish the PowerPoint presentation for our panel defense on Thursday. I didn't care much of myself today. I only focused on finishing what's on my list and still hasn't finish it yet, which all was due on Thursday. And I know it doesn't sound good.

Learn to check on yourself even just for a minute. It's good to focus on what you're doing but NEVER forget yourself despite of the long list you have on a day. ✨

This should be 2 sticks or tablespoons of instant black coffee mix.
