Having read Maskerade, I really hope that “Miserable Les” gets produced by Walter, mainly because how amazing it would be for Vimes to be dragged by his wife to one of these new fangaled “musicals” only to find out a good portion of it is about the Glorious May 25th (with historical assistance provided by Reg Shoe) that probably has John Keel acting as Enjolras and a very prominent “morality is more important than laws as written” message, that Vimes kinda finds himself agreeing with. Also Do You Hear the People Sing’s equivalent is probably a reworked version of Rise Up.
