The Chargeback Cases - Update - Alternatives to Paypal. [Urgent]
So to give a bit of an update since the call-to-action against these chargeback cases, things aren’t looking very pretty.
I’m not tossing the person’s name under the bus because I’m not an ass, but basically how these came about was that the person who donated to me shared a card with their stepfather. Stepdad didn’t approve of these charges and now claims the card as stolen, so all of the donations were forcibly drawn back and considered unauthorized.
Now, with that said, I gave this person the benefit of the doubt and asked them to reason with their father, and to call their bank to attempt to fix this.
Since then, I haven’t heard from them.
Fast forward to yesteday, I have yet to actually transfer the money earned from our little drive because I felt confident I could hold onto it until the 6th. I’m out getting food and then I get declined. Why?
But now you’re saying “Adachi/Bara that’s way more than what they took from you!” And here’s the rub.
For every chargeback case under review, I have been charged a $20 settlement fee. Keep in mind that I had roughly $250 saved up to transfer to my bank before this suddenly replaced it.
This means I am now $745 in debt because of this /one/ person.
At this point, I can’t do anything but wait. This is a waiting game. Should I win this case, the money previously donated to me will be back in my hands, but right now there’s nothing I can do about my paypal.
There is however, an alternative solution I’ve found. It’s a bit of a stretch but I am going to ask for the help because if I don’t I will actually mc’fuckin’ die.
For those of you who are able to help, I urge you to sign up for this app called Circle Pay using my referral code. Circle is a messaging app that also allows you to send/receive money from friends/family.

Furthermore, this has proven to not only be legitimate, but the funds are made immediately available to me through my bank via my debit card. This is the only way I’m going to be able to receive money that I can actually use until this gets resolved. I really have no other option or way of surviving besides this.

This is so incredibly selfish of me to ask, I know. But this is the best I can do for myself. I’m too fucked up over what happened to stream at this point. Even just talking about this situation has me shaking because this is by far the most devastating thing to happen to me since the whole hacking debacle.
