Midoriya let out a low deep sigh, his brow furrowing as he gazed out of the window. He had wondered a lot over his life, why people were on earth, were there aliens? Many questions had crossed him, some he had found answers to others he had been left questioning.
Yet the biggest question he had ever faced was you. Your entire existence was an anomaly. In the 60 plus years he had known you, you had never aged once. not a single wrinkle appeared on you face. Not so much as a grey hair had even appeared. You looked just how you had the first day he had met you.
Midoriya sat behind the chunky wooden desk, his fingers tapped on the desk as he waited for a customer to appear. He stiffly stood up once hearing the soft ring of the door, his attention immediately turning to who had walked in. A grin tugged at Midoriya’s lips, he had never regretted giving them a job. They had stood by him this entire time, he adjusted himself on the bed. His old bones cracking with every move, a small knock on the door catching his attention. With a smile he granted them entry.
He grinned at the still youthful face, a graceful smile covered their features. “I brought you some tea.” He smiled gratefully and accepted the cup, taking a big gulp of the warm liquid. He let out a peaceful smile and laid back. “Y’know? I don’t have long left.” A sad smile took over their face, Midoriya’s heart clenching.
“Will you finally tell me then? Old friend.” Midoriya’s hand covered their own, their old eyes staring into his. “Will that make you pass peacefully?” MIdoriya nodded, they nodded and let out a breath. “I was born about six hundred years ago, in 1247.” Midoriya let out a chuckle, he knew somewhere deep inside they had to have been inhumane of sorts.
“How did you achieve it?” If he could have a few more answers, that would be all he needed. His old friend took a seat next to him. “I was granted it, for saving a God. Although, it’s more like a curse. I will always outlive everyone I know. I’ve tried many different ways but, alas here I am.” Midoriya took in your sad smile, he had always thought immortality would be a gift, the first hand knowledge you could have. He hadn’t really considered that.
“You’ve lost a lot then? I’m sorry to hear that.” He was glad though, glad you were finally opening up to him after so many years. Although he supposed after how long you had lived he wouldn’t even take up a fraction of your life. “You must know a lot?” They swayed their head. “To be honest, I hid away for the longest time. But I can tell you this, dragons use to fill the night sky.” A smirk took over their face as Midoriya’s eye’s bulged.
“What happened?” Midoriya’s attention had been captured now. “I think their was a war.” Their face scrunched. “I had disappeared just before that and when i reappeared they were all gone. Not even a trace that they had ever existed. Almost as if everyone had decided to forget. But the dragons helped us, they took us out on wonderful adventures, they brought us food, helped us win fights. “
“I guess even you have questions you will never have answered.” They smiled and nodded at him, fingers rubbing against theirs. “Will you stay by my side and tell me more?” They gave him a soft smile. “Of course.” After all, it was the least they could do for someone they had spent so much time with.

Erza prepared to attack, Irene grinned smugly. “Clever. Separation enchant. Deus Zero!” Wendy frowned. “I cancel your Deus Zero with my own Deus Zero!” Irenes eyes widened. “She can cast such high-level enchanter spells?” Worry briefly slipping into her before she shook it off, grinning as Erza readied her sword.
“This is the end.” The younger redhead called out, preparing to strike down her mother. She made contact, her sword hitting her in the head. Instead of falling down like she had expected she again spoke in an almost casual tone. “I finally see it, Erza.” She grinned. “I finally understand the truth behind enchanter magic.” Without giving either the time to respond she continued. “Was it because you were a baby?” She questioned to herself.
“Was it because you were family that it failed? Or because enchanting a personality onto a human is impossible to begin with? The answer is no.” Blood dripped from her face slowly, the dark red substance a contrast to her pale skin. “Now i see that compatibility was the key all along.” Ezra felt fear fill her, eyes widening.
“But now, standing before me, is one who is both a dragon slayer and an enchanter, with a young body that’s also safe from the dragon transformation.” A wicked grin took over her features, fists clenching. Wendy’s eye’s widened before she felt pulses run through her body. Fear began to fill her mind, was this woman really going to take her from her body?

Erza spun around, looking at her with horror and worry. “You don’t mean-” She cut herself off, noticing a dark energy beginning to cover the young dragon slayers body. “Ahh, how long I’ve waited for this.” Erza’s eyes widened, she still sounded like Wendy. “Her magic will be weaker but that’s fine.” Erza felt sick, she couldn’t hurt her.
“Wendy!” She called out, her voice filled with desperation. “A new body. A new life. Irene is reborn.” She grinned, it looked out of place on Wendy’s sweet features. “With this new body of mine.” Erza shook her head. “No, this can’t be.” Irene began to list off the injury's Wendy’s body had sustained. “Look at this body, how adorable.” Erza looked at her in anger before a choking noise caught her attention, she looked over to Irene’s old body, watching as it collapsed.

The bubbles seemed to shoot out, trying to hit her yet she expertly dodged each one that chased her. “For 400 long years I’ve protected you. Yet you turned out completely useless when you were born! And now your denying me my happiness?” Rage filled Irene as she continued her attacks.
Erza ignored her words. “I understand the misery you’ve been through. But.. i cannot afford to loose!” She wouldn’t loose, for Wendy. Irene cursed her out. “What could you possibly know of my misery?” She was borderline hysterical. “After you abandoned me in that village a cult kidnapped me. For years they treated me as their proper.” Although Wendy had already know her heart still broke with Erza’s words.
“Sure its not much compared to your 400 years. But.. I became who I am now because of who I was then.” Her voice was steady and strong as she dove into the air, readying her sword. “I even met people I hold dear! And I overcame other painful events because my friends were there for me!” Wendy’s eyes teared up, she was incredible.
She landed the attack on Irene. “I despise your entire existence!” The older woman called out, anger fuelling her. I never should’ve had you! Die! Die! Die! Disappear forever!” Irene began to transform, scales covering her body as she clashed with Erza.

You quickly yanked open your balcony doors, you couldn’t find it in you to care whether he’d eat you or not. It’d be worth it for one last hug, you quickly threw yourself onto him. Your arms wrapping tight, afraid to let go and lose him again.
You could feel the urge to cry burn the back of your throat but you pushed it down, sighing happily when his arms came to wrap around you too. After a few moments you pulled back, many questions rushing through your mind.
“What happened?” You finally managed to get out, worry clearly written across your features. He let out a sigh, you stepped back and gestured him in. You bit your lip anxiously. “Ghouls like coffee right?” A small smile appeared on his pale face and he nodded, his hair bouncing.
You walked to the kitchen, switching on the kettle and grabbing out two cups. Your mind raced through so many questions yet you couldn’t think of anything to say, or how to word it. You had liked Kaneki for a while now and when he disappeared it had caused a lot of pain, you had barley left the house.
You poured both coffees and took them over to the living area, where Kaneki had seated himself. You sat on the couch, wondering whether you were too close or too far. His voice cut out the paranoia beginning to brew in you.
“Somethings happened and I had to leave for a bit.” You nodded, you wanted to question more but you didn’t want to push him. “Why didn’t you say anything? It’s been two months.” You wanted to know why it was now that he was coming back.
A conflicted look took over his face, he looked to be deep in thought for a few moments. You kept silent as he gathered his thoughts. “It was getting harder.” Your brow furrowed in confusion. “What do you mean?” You couldn’t deny the fact your heart had picked up speed, you looked at him but his gaze was fixed on the ground.
You damn near had a heart attack when his eyes shot back up to yours, a new look of confidence on his face. “I couldn’t stay away from you.” You swore your heart had stopped, your ears ringing out.
Anxiety started to take over Kaneki’s features. “I’m glad.” He blinked, a small smile tugging at his lips. “Really?” You nodded, shyly shuffling closer to him. He let out a breath through his nose, moving close until your thighs were touching.
