So as I mentioned, I am an Animal Care Tech Volunteer at ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center. For the last couple of weeks, I have been taking care of these guys here, two young Painted Turtles (Chrysemys picta). They live in the upstairs “Pop-up) tank in the Discovery Room. My work with them consists of enclosure maintenance, filter cleaning, and behavioral observation.

Hey guys, me again. So I have not posted in forever, this summer was crazy and I was focusing more on my personal blog. I have decided that I want to "start over" in a sense this semester by keeping you all up to date on some of the cool stuff going on that I see here in Vermont. I'll be posting every now and then on the trips I head out on, interesting stuff I find out there and on the internet, and anything environmentally oriented. Oh, and lastly. I am now an Animal Care Tech Volunteer at the ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center. I started about three weeks ago and I work every Thursday morning. Updates and maybe even some pictures on how that is going are on the way as this semester progresses.
