MCOC Fightin’ Strategies (WIP)
First of all, large opponents (Hulk, Abomination, Juggernaut, Thanos, Hulkbuster, Rhino, Venom, Joe Fix-It) have a VERY FAST heavy attack, especially with superior AIs. When you block normal attacks, always be ready to swipe back in case they lean back for a heavy.

Absorption: Captain Marvel*, Ms. Marvel*, Ultron* (converts energy attacks into health and power)
Armor Up: Colossus, Dr. Strange, Hulkbuster, Iron Man, Iron Patriot, Scarlet Witch*, Super. Iron Man, Unstoppable Colossus, War Machine (increases defense)
Break armor: Cyclops, Elektra (Immune to bleed only), Hulkbuster, Iron Fist, Iron Man, Iron Patriot, Magnetox, New Daredevil (stunned opponents), Rocket Raccoon, Spider-Man, Spider-Man (Cosmic), Super. Iron Man, War Machine (opposite of armor up)
Cause bleed with normal or crit attacks: Black Panther, Drax, Guillotine, Joe Fix-It, Moon Knight, Scarlet Witch*, Ultron, Wolverine, Wolverine X-23, Xpool (this will do a percentage of their attack over a short amount of time. Some can stack it)
Cause bleed with specials: Captain America II, Deadpool, Drax, Elektra, Gamora, Groot, Hawkeye, Joe Fix-It, Magneto, Magnetox, Moon Knight, Punisher, Rocket Raccoon, Star-Lord, War Machine, Xpool
Cauterize: Drones (?), Ultron (when bleeding, stops bleeding and deals attack instead)
Cruelty: Black Widow, Cyclops*, Gamora, Groot*, Rocket Raccoon, Storm* (Increases critical damage)
Direct Damage: Captain Marvel, Ronan (Some special attacks ignore armor and resistances)
Element Gun: Star-Lord special attacks 2 & 3 (gun randomly selects an element from the following: fire (armor break), air (shock, like bleed but ignores physical resistance), water (power drain), earth (heal block))
Enfeeble: Scarlet Witch*, Spider-Man, Spider-Man (C) (Reduces crit damage)
Evade: Black Widow, Daredevil (projectiles)*, Moon Knight (New Moon), New Daredevil (projectiles), Spider-Gwen, Spider-man*, Spider-Man (c) (completely dodges attack randomly by moving back, even if they are against the wall; chance to evade varies; some activated by using a special)
Fate Seal: Dr. Strange (prevents the gain of beneficial effects)
Fatigue: Ant-man, Captain America, Scarlet Witch* (reduces attack power)
Fury: Abomination, Cap. Marvel, Drax, Groot, Hulk, Juggernaut, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight (Waning), Punisher, Rhino, Star-Lord, Winter Soldier (increases attack power)
Glancing: Ant-Man* (similar to evade; dodges 50% of damage and does not move back)
Heal Block: Kang, Magneto, Magnetox, Scarlet Witch*
Immune to bleed: Colossus, Drones, Groot, Luke Cage, The Vision, Ultron, Unst. Colossus, Vision
Immune to poison: Abomination, Black Bolt, Cap. Marvel, Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Ronan, The Vision, Ultron, Vision
Indestructible: Luke Cage, Venompool (won’t take damage but can still be pushed around, Luke activates it on the first hit)
Nullify: Dr. Strange*, Scarlet Witch (removes beneficial bonuses from opponent; AKA counterspell)
Perfect Block Chance: Captain America, Captain America II, Daredevil, New Daredevil (perfect blocks block all damage; I did not put this one up before now because anyone with the perfect block master can have all their champions do perfect blocks)
Physical Resistance: Groot, Guillotine, New Daredevil,
Poison: Abomination*, Ant-Man, Scarlet Witch*
Power Burn: Magik, The Vision, Vision (takes some of the opponent’s power meter and turns it into damage)
Power Drain: Hawkeye (removes a portion of the opponent’s power meter)
Power Gain: Dr. Strange, Vision*, Xpool (cyclically/randomly/steadily gains a portion of power meter during the fight)
Power Lock: Magik, Scarlet Witch* (prevents opponent from gaining or losing power)
Power Steal: Magik, The Vision* (takes a portion of the opponent’s power meter and adds it to their own)
Power Sting: Yellowjacket (activating a special attack when stung takes damage; if the YJ is duped, they’ll be stunned when the sting wears off if they don’t make a special)
Precision: Black Panther, Black Widow, Cyclops, Daredevil, Elektra, Iron Fist, Moon Knight, Rocket Raccoon*, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, Yellowjacket (lands critical hits more often)
Rebound Damage: Electro (contact hits deal back a portion of damage)
Regenerate/regain health: Deadpool, Dr. Strange, Groot, Guillotine*, Iron Man*, Iron Patriot*, Joe Fix-It (*?), Magik*, Mutant Class Drones/Adaptoids/Symbioids, Scarlet Witch*, Super. Iron Man*, Ultron, Wolverine, Wolverine X-23 (recovers a percentage of max health over a certain amount of time; some stack and some are permanent; AKA self-repair, rewind)
Soul Harvest: Guillotine (each soul charge increases crit damage)
Stun with specials: Black Bolt, Black Widow, Captain America, Daredevil, Daredevil New, Drone (Mystic), Electro, Iron Patriot, Joe Fix-It, Moon Knight (Full Moon), Ronan, Scarlet Witch*, Storm, Symbioid (Skill), Thor, Winter Soldier*, Yellowjacket* (an inability to move, block, or attack for a few seconds depending on the level)
Unstoppable: Juggernaut, Unst. Colossus (attacks will not push them back; from what I’ve observed, unstoppable only activates at the very beginning of the battle and after every special attack they use; how long it lasts depends on the level; this seems to have been updated so that non-duped chars )
(These are all the ones I have for now, message me for any I’m missing; especially helpful would be any observations on those that can only be fought and not opened from a crystal, like Kang, Thanos, Adaptoids Symbioids or Drones, or those I do not have, like Kamala, Agent Venom, Symbiote Spidey, Miles Morales Spidey, Luke Cage, Fix-It, She-Hulk, et cetera!)
The following are each member’s personal opinions and are in no way the only way or even the best ways to fight.
Class bonuses are the foremost factor in a relatively evened out team. It is usually best to go with your strongest champion of each class - teams consist of a maximum of 5 champions, so check the quest stats before going in to see which one you’ll need the least. Champions also vary per path.
Another factor that can be very helpful is synergy, though that comes partly with luck of crystal spins. If you have the option of putting together a synergetic team, more power to you. (:
Inferior AIs (low streak PVP, early story quests) tend to spend a lot of time blocking instead of attacking, and are fairly slow in terms of realizing you’re about to throw a heavy.
Superior AIs (high streak PVP, later story quests, AQs), however, will not give you a chance to throw a heavy attack - I have not used a heavy attack on purpose myself in months. They will hit you before you finish charging and proceed to beat the crap out of you. If they are blocking, hit their block with combos 1-3 times and then block (if you do all five they will have an opportunity to hit you) - they will try to heavy attack or hit you normally, that’s your chance.
When you are against someone who causes bleed, BLOCK EVERYTHING. This is actually true with most status afflictions - blocking won’t let them take effect.
As for regeneration and armor up, you may want someone with nullify/counterspell, or someone with armor break. Deadpool also gets a large regen at 25% health, if you hit him immediately with a special you should be able to knock him out. Be gentle w/ him.
Strategies for Kang (Tech)(A2C4Q6)(2.2k Rating):
Sismyn said class advantage (Cosmic) and bleeding is good.
SleepyDragonfly said that a duped Iron Man is quite good, even with a rating 1k below Kang’s.
Strategies for Duped Scarlet Witch (Mystic)(A3C4Q5/PVP/AQ)(2.3k):
Scarlet Witch’s duped power allows her to randomly inflict a status - pretty much any of the ones listed above - when either her or the opponent makes a critical hit (the likelihood of this happening varies; for a 3* that’s been duped once it’s a 54% chance). Class advantage to science, avoid using those with high crit rates to prevent all these status inflictions.
Strategies for Thanos (Cosmic)(A3C4Q6)(3.2k):

Use your strongest guys and try to go in with as much health as possible. Class advantage to Mystic.
Strategies for Ultron (Tech)(AQ)(>5K - Varies Depending on AQ Level):
Sismyn recommends that you wait to attack Ultron in AQ until at least the nodes that give +200% Att and HP are gone, but preferably all nodes that link to Ultron should be gone.
She also advises that you do NOT allow him to get third power, especially if you are bleeding. Class advantage to Cosmic.
Strategies for Venom (Cosmic)(AQ)(>5k - Varies Depending on AQ Level):
Mystic. Avoid Third power. He can bleed. Be sure that the regen link node (Hawkeye) is gone before attack. 1% may not seem like a lot, but the guy has a bajillion health, one percent of which is....a lot.
