Daddy Knows Best - Han Jisung Scenario
Summary: in which your’s and Jisung’s daughter, Jiyoung, realises how much how much she loves her dad
okay yes this is the same as Hyunjin’s son WE LOVE A GREAT STORY LINE
“Jisung stop it!” you exclaimed, slapping his hand away.
Jisung just giggled, leaning in closer to tickle your tummy.
“Jisung get off!” you exclaimed, beginning to laugh.
“Mum?” a little voice asked from behind you.
“Jiyoung!” Jisung exclaimed brightly, picking her up and swirling her round before placing her on the floor.
“What’s wrong baby?” you asked, noticing the look on her face.
The 11-year-old collapsed onto the floor, erupting in tears instead of her usual laughter.
“Ji-Jiyoung?” Jisung asked, falling onto his knees in front of her, “what’s wrong?”
“Jisung, I think me and Ji should talk by ourselves,” you said, placing a hand on his shoulder.
He looked at you confused, about to speak as you just shook your head.
“N-No Mum, it-it’s fine,” Jiyoung said, “I just don’t want him to say anything.”
Jisung nodded as his daughter looked up at him before collapsing onto his chest, being pulld into a hug by his strong arms.
You kneeled in front of the pair, stroking Jiyoung’s hair, “please tell us what’s wrong baby. We can’t help you if we don’t know.”
“You can’t help me,” Jiyoung said, “I just want you to know.”
“Know what?” Jisung asked, making you and Jiyoung glare at him, he surrended before pulling Jiyoung into a loose hug.
“Well you know there was that boy,” Jiyoung started.
You nodded, keeping your hand on her head, “Jamie?”
“Yeah, Jamie. The exchange student,” she said, sniffling, “well his family decided to stay here.”
“That’s great! I thought said you two were really friendly?”
“No,” Jiyoung said, “well we were. And then I had a crush on him, but when I told him?”
She began to sob again as you looked at Jisung who turned her around so she could cry into his chest, rocking her as he did when she was a baby.
“He said he wouldn’t date me in a million years,” she cried out, still sobbing.
You looked at Jisung concerned while you could see he gave a similar look back to you.
“Jiyoung, baby,” Jisung cooed.
“He said that I was the ugliest person he’d ever met. Inside and out,” Jiyoung cried, sobbing as tears streamed down her face, “he said I was stupid for thinking I was a match for him.”
“Jiyoung. You know that’s not true don’t you?” you said, joining the hug.
“I don’t know!” she cried out.
“If it was legal I would totally beat the crap out of that boy,” Jisung breathed, kissing his daughter’s head.
“Hyungsik already did,” she spoke, looking at you as you kissed her forehead.
“Hwang Hyungsik?” Jisung asked, looking at his daughter in disbelief.
“Uncle Hyunjin’s son?” you asked.
Jiyoung nodded, “there was a group of people surrounding us and Jamie was just shouting at me but then Hyungsik just came out the crowd and punched Jamie in the face.”
“Hyungsik started it?!” Jisung exclaimed.
Jiyoung nodded, “but Jamie’s quite big, so Hyungsik got really hurt.”
“Is he alright?” you asked.
“He got a cut lip and bruises all over here—“ she motioned to her eye area, “–but then he stormed off and I couldn’t talk to him. Mack and Zack walked home with me.”
“Not condoning violence, but good,” you said.
Jiyoung smiled, “how did you two meet?”
“He shouted at me,” you said.
“Apparently everything happens with you two shouting at each other?” Jiyoung said, looking between the two of you, confused.
“Well, when we met she took my bread, so I shouted at her,” Jisung explained.
“It was the last bread and apparently your dad walked into the shop and it was his?” you said, “he was just being an idiot. But then again when he confessed to me, he walked into a really busy room and shouted ‘Y/N Y/L/N I like you so much!’.”
“I still ask that question,” you said, shaking your head, “he even carried it on to our marriage proposal. Shouting at me from across Stray Kids’ old dorm. As soon as I walked in there was just a voice screaming ‘Y/N I want to marry you!’ and then Uncle Jeongin gave me a ring.”
Jiyoung turned her head around to look at her dad confused, before laughing, “you’re so strange Dad.”
Jisung just nodded, “but she got one back. We were walking round a shopping centre and then your mum went into a baby clothes store, while I stood outside, before shouting at me ‘Han Jisung! I’m pregnant with your baby!’.”
Jiyoung rolled her eyes, “no wonder you two are so embarrassing, you were even before you were parents.”
Jisung nodded, high-fiving you, “hell yeah we were.”
“Why did you fall in love with someone who shouted at you though?” Jiyoung asked, leaning back against her dad’s chest as she looked at you.
“Well, after the bread incident, we kept in touch and it turns out he only shouts during major mile stones in our relationship,” you chuckled, “but he was great, you know? He was just so kind and constantly happy. He made me happy.”
“But how did you know you loved him?” Jiyoung asked.
You looked at Jisung, who was staring at your daughter lovingly, before looking back at Jiyoung, “when you’re in love, you’ll know. Okay baby? It’s not who you want to be in a relationship with, it’s usually quite far into a relationship, even in a friendship, something might turn into love.”
“And it’s not butterflies when you see them, either,” Jisung added, tapping Jiyoung’s tummy as she giggled.
“No. At the beginning it is, but it turns into more,” you said, “you feel comfortable. Like they’re family. And you feel constantly happy when they’re around.”
Jiyoung tilted her head to the side.
“Have you felt that?” you asked, leaning in closer.
Jiyoung nodded her head as Jisung’s jaw tightened.
“Really?!” you gasped, “for who?”
“Dad,” Jiyoung said, pointing up at Jisung’s face.
You smiled as Jisung’s face relaxed and turned into one of shock.
“Why can’t all boys be as nice as you?” Jiyoung cried, turning round and hugging Jisung again, her tiny arms round his neck as he hugged her round her waist.
“Jiyoung, you’ll find a boy, or girl, better than me. I promise,” Jisung said.
Jiyoung shook her head, “no we won’t!”
Jiyoung nodded, “me and mum.”
You smiled, “well she’s right.”
Jisung smiled, looking as though he was about to cry as he pulled you into the hug he was sharing with Jiyoung.
“My two favourite girls,” Jisung cried as he planted over-dramatic kisses on both of your foreheads.
“And remember,” Jisung said, looking at Jiyoung sternly as she smiled, her forehead resting against her dad’s, “daddy knows best, yeah?”
“I thought it was mummy?” Jiyoung said, laughing as she showed off her gappy teeth.
You smiled, pulling her away from Jisung and into your arms, “once again, she’s not wrong.”
Jisung shook his head before diving onto the two of you, so you were all lying on the floor.
“I love you,” Jiyoung said quietly.
You and Jisung smiled, sharing a look which immediately showed how much that warmed both of your hearts.
“We love you too baby girl,” Jisung said, “don’t worry about loving other boys, yeah? You or Mum. You both have me, and who else could you need?”
Jiyoung laughed and although you knew he was joking, you couldn’t help but think how right he was. For both of you.
