Is it a bad call to post this now since it won’t get a lot of attention this late at night? Probably. But I have 0 patience, my friends are asleep and I’m desperate for validation.
I wanted to do a stylized atmospheric comic but I couldn’t not do my regular comic style so I did both. It’s not a lot. Just Wilbur getting resurrected. Like pfffff this is the lamest thing but i think it looks kinda cool.

"Techno didnt want them to start a government :(" Ok? And the majority of them wanted a Government? Techno's word isnt more important than others just because he can scare people into listening to him!
Imagine living in a nation, a nation you love, a nation where literally all you do all day is have fun with your friends aside from the few conflicts, it's a safe place. Suddenly your nation gets taken from you because of an election your president randomly decided on, and it's taken over by a dictator who hurts you and hurts others. You have died for this nation, you were one of the founders. You have to get it back.
You fight for the nation back, you want to reclaim it from the hands of tyranny, and when the dictator is dead, when you finally get it back its blown up and the anarchist guy that you've canonically spoken to like twice is going on a rampage (again! You watched him shoot you and others at the festival too) because he didnt like what you were doing with your own nation and he wanted His Way that he was never promised in the first place. Everyone is screaming and panicking, there are Withers, Wilbur has just died, everything's gone wrong, you're getting mercilessly attacked because you used items said anarchist gave you, and you dont understand why, and he disappears into the shadows after threatening to destroy your nation again
I find this a very interesting take and I think you brought up some great points but I have another take for your consideration.
(Just a heads up I started watching after the war so there is a good chance I will not be entirely correct)
It is to my understanding that during the war and even before Technoblade stated his views on government very clearly and how he was only fighting in the war to bring an end to government. I also have seen how much they relied on Technoblade’s resources to win the war. I’m not saying that it was right for him to have blown up L’manburg more because he did not get what he wanted but I am saying that it was very predictable and in character to do so. My biggest point here is that everyone fighting for L’manburg knew Technoblade’s views didn’t align with their own and they all knew how powerful he was. They could have easily predicted an unfavorable outcome by teaming with him.
Again I am not saying that what Technoblade did was justified I am only saying they should have know not to team with Technoblade when they were trying to reclaim a government.
Theyd stated what they wanted to do multiple times in front of Techno, (Take down Schlatt, reclaim L'Manberg) they most likely believed Techno was there to help them do this, as not once did they come to an agreement with him that they'd destroy governments all together
Techno didnt even talk about his views much with the characters, he may have made them clear with the viewers but the characters clearly didnt understand. Plus most of Pogtopia wouldnt have known anyway? People like Fundy, Eret and Niki who joined Pogtopia later on and never once canonically heard Techno speak about his intentions were also attacked, Quackity asked Techno what would happen when Pogtopia got into power and Techno stopped the conversation, Tubbo was also there to witness that, and Tommy had said so many times the plan was to retake L'Manberg.
Everyone was on the same page except Techno, it's not really their fault he didnt realize what was going on, and they thought Techno was helping Them
The goal of 90% of the Pogtopians were to Take Down Schlatt, and that's what they did
And then, after Schlatt died, Wilbur was the one who spoke up about the presidency and he's the one who made Tubbo president. Nobody but Wilbur seemed to realize he was gonna do this, and instead of... blaming Wilbur... the blame was put on the rest of the Pogtopians who were just fighting to get rid of a dictator that had hurt them
Not to mention - Techno told nobody he had Withers prepared, and nobody in Pogtopia (except maybe Wilbur) had agreed to blow up the nation, regardless if they created a government he still brought Withers to battle. Why would he bring them if he wasnt expecting a betrayal? He had told None of his So Called Allies that he was carrying weapons of Mass Destruction into battle
Techno gave his resources for free, with full permission, he cant really hold that against their heads the second their ideals didnt match his
I think the one that is most to blame here is Wilbur. Others have done more extensive research than me and have much higher writing skill than me, but in summary: it seems that Wilbur was the only one that knew for sure about Techno's views, Techno told him about the withers (or at least alluded to them), and Wilbur was the one that knew Pogtopia would make a new government (he was the one to make it!). Tommy and Wilbur never discussed it in front of Techno, and there was an aura of "we're all equals, no hierarchy" in Pogtopia, which could have misñed Techno. Wilbur (probably) purposefully kept both sides in the dark, he wanted the conflict, he wanted the chaos (and that co tinied until the end! He told Phil that Techno was the traitor! And the fact that the TNT blew up exactly as Techno killed Tommy just reinforced that.)
(Also I would like to point out that the conversation with Techno, Tubbo and Quackity doesn't really prove Techno knew about the government. I think canonically Techno's character didn't know and that's why cc!Techno cut the conversation short. Also, Quackity whispered to Tubbo something along the lines of "Techno is useful to us for now so let's ignore this weird thing")
Of course Techno is a terrorist but I think Pogtopia -or at least Tommy/Wilbur- should have known Techno was a wildcard and he was against governments (and had the means to fight by himself), and I believe Wilbur knew.
10 years from now, most DSMP fans (who attend) will have graduated college, and. y'all spend a lot of time thinking about corruption, power, and making moral choices when given tough options.
i’m. statistically speaking, even if you just take the highest concurrent viewers on 1 stream (650k), there’s 1 dsmp viewer for ~200 americans … some of you are gonna run for office. there’s gonna be minecraft teens who were radicalized by a 24-year-old british man who wanted to sell drugs, and an anarchist anime pig who’s done multiple acts of terrorism. in Office. one of you motherfuckers is gonna make it to congress. or the fucking. senate.

usually i try to be kind or at least neutral on some things, but today's not the day for that. fuck anyone on the planet who has decided that it is okay to ship minors.
i bring this up now because i'm seeing a surge of people shipping minors in the dream smp/mcyt community - most commonly between tubbo and tommyinnit, or tubbo and ranboo. if you do this, choke and die slowly.
it is not your job to speculate on the sexualities or the relationships of sixteen/seventeen y/o's, especially when they've gone out of their way to say that they don't want to be shipped, sexualised or anything of the sort. it is encroaching on the boundaries of real people, real friendships, and i'd like to remind you that it's fucking illegal.
i have seen post after post speculating that tubbo is lgbt and it has to stop. whether or not he is or he isn't is completely irrelevant - the point is that speculating about it is intrusive, it's harmful to a minor, and if he is lgbt, it's going to confuse the fuck out of him and make it harder to come out if he is lgbt. truthing needs to stop.
i am not going to sit around and try and be courteous to people like that.
i want to mention, however, that i myself have made jokes about them 'flirting', specifically ranboo and tubbo, but i mainly did it in the context of knowing that it was all in good fun and not serious on the valentines day streams where they were joking about being valentines. if it at all appeared that i was trying to ship them, or if i endorsed that kind of behaviour, i apologise.
what i will not apologise for, however, is being a cunt to people who overstep boundaries.
i've reblogged a post before containing a blocklist of people who engage with this kind of behaviour, but in general tags that should be blocked or avoided include:
enderbee, enderbees, ranbee, boobee (this one makes me want to dash my skull into a wall), tubbo truthing, ranboo truthing and any variants of a person x person tag or other related shipping tags that i have missed.
i know at times it might not be beneficial to talk on things but it is my personal belief that some issues do need to be talked about, brought to light - information that this is happening should be known and something should be done to combat it. i haven't been on tumblr for long, but as soon as i see a post shipping minors, i immediately block and report (in fact i pretty much block shippers on my feed anyway) and i would reccommend doing something similar. there should be an effort to discourage this sort of behaviour.
dream saying that he doesn't really care if people ship him with someone like george isn't an umbrella statement, in fact dream has gone on record stating the opposite - his words, just because he's extremely popular, doesn't encompass the feelings of individuals. all three, tommy, tubbo and ranboo have gone on record and stated that they do not wish to be shipped or sexualised, especially since it is illegal because of their age. i'm not placing the blame on dream here, however, i'm placing the blame on dickheads who decide that because dream said something, it must apply to everyone else.
tldr: if you ship minors, you aren't welcome here.
