I've been pretty low energy lately, playing lots of hatch dragons hehe. Well and painting another illustration commission, slowly, but I'm getting there. Sketching is hard with limited brainpower.

Just wanted to throw in a few recent pieces I managed to do! Two music player commissions and a personal piece for world lore purposes. I'm doing the species page next and require new illustrations for it of course. The first one is done, showing "people" aka earth's main population. I'm happy with the random person designs. Some of them are inspired by other characters of mine, others are very random.

For the draw this in your style event/challenge on Vgen, Pose A! It has been years, if not decades since I last joined a DTIYS. If you're wondering why I joined this one, it's because I want to be a little more well known in these circles, and because the event and character looked super fun!

Genie is designed in an anime art style which gave me a semi-hard time drawing her in my style without her losing her likeliness. I think this turned out quite a bit different to my usual art style, at least in the face. But I'm still very pleased with the result and had fun drawing her for sure!

World building stuff

Banner/background for world lore page. I'm very pleased with this, for the most part. I originally made Lui more angry in the sketch state but it started looking goofy the longer I looked lol. I worked in lots of different colors everywhere, especially in fading areas and I think it turned out pretty cool.

A couple new graphics and upgrades graphics for the islands page. Some of them are going to be small so there's less detail present. Love how the new map turned out. Finally got around to illustrating Freds castle separately as well, the sketch is complete. Most likely finishing it along with a few other things today if my focus doesn't start drifting away

Update on islands world building section and it's already there >> https://skykristal.art/Totmansdoll/Islands/ I re-wrote a lot of it's lore like a week prior.

Giving the Tosdohl castle rainbow glass windows is more a concept than anything. I imagine colored-something-windows. It's too blurry but it comes kinda? close to my inner image.

The other illustrations for the start page. The map was done months prior along with the cafe and school building. Managed to stay consistent in graphic style. nice.

Next I'm going to do the weapon and item section and add additional elements that haven't been listed before. + I won't be redrawing the refsheets. They're cool illustrations and all but a lot of work and semi unnecessary bc I write on the site itself anyway

Ta-Daa! Finally done!

Hiii I worked on this for about a month and a half (I posted a few things on Cara about my process if anyone is interested). And I'm pretty sure this almost crashed my laptop multiple times 😅

Context: I'm working on a comic, and there are five main protagonists (Z5) and two more groups of side characters (J34 and Y96) and I finally got around to getting this group poster done!

I wanted it to be super special and animate parts of it and it took me a long time to figure out how to use clip studio paint properly while animating

But I'm proud to post this as my first piece of 2026! 💙
