I never got to make an introductory post on this blog, so I'm gonna go ahead and do that.

Hi! I'm Valentine/Val, and this is a blog for my rewrite/AU of Skylanders Imaginators: Skylanders ReImagined! I'll mainly be posting about my rewrite/AU here, but I might drop a few posts regarding Skylanders in general and reblog Skylanders related stuff.

My ask box is always open if you wanna ask me some stuff regarding the rewrite or if you just wanna chat about it or Skylanders in general.

Skylanders was my childhood, and was probably part of the reason why I got through some tough times in my life. I love these silly little, goofy monsters, gremlins, and just really transparent people.

I've already posted most of these on Reddit (ohshiitakemushroomz). If you want me to do specific ones, feel free to request some via my Ask Box or through a reblog. I won't be doing any I don't have, however.

Skylanders in Real Time - 02/02/25

I redesigned Dahlia! Her full name is actually Scarlett Forsythia-Dahlia, but she prefers to just be called Dahlia.

A lot of her significance in the ReImagined AU is the same, but her personality is getting a rewrite. This time, she's a lot more of a trickster character, and is known to scam people, citing that they weren't specific enough in their request. The team also wouldn't trust her a lot at first due to her past dealings with Kaos' mother Eris (yes, I'm doubling down on that being her new name because the old one is trash). She claims to only help the team and the Skylanders because she owes them for getting her scepter back, but she does find a sense of company and family within the group, which ultimately convinces her to stick around.

For the redesign, I gave her blue eyes instead of the orange she had previously to reference blue flames (and because I feel like it'd pop out more), and I changed the color of her markings and placement of her freckles. I'll make a fullbody design for her eventually, I swear--

Skylanders Headcanons, But It's Just (some of) my Faves

Dino-Rang

Has some of the best stories from his old days. Somebody would definitely be interested in hearing about them.

The reason why he hates being called a "dragon" was because of how his tribe made fun of him when he was younger. That's something he's sensitive about. Leave him be.

He holds a vendetta against wizards/witches/sorcerers, mostly because of the incident. Funnily enough, he does seem to get along with Voodood the Orc.

Because he's a dinosaur, he does get the urge to bite things. When he's especially upset, he does bite people. Usually he does keep this habit in check, sometimes gnawing on his boomerangs (it's weird, but it works).

Free Ranger

Surprisingly good with children. They always like to hang around him, due to his fun, adventurous persona. He's also extremely protective.

He and Stormblade were friends before the two became Skylanders. Free Ranger may or may not have been responsible for Stormblade's quest to find the bottom of Skylands. They're still relatively close, and the two have a mentor-apprentice type relationship.

He's also had his escapades with Jet-Vac (mostly, it was just Jet trying to make sure he didn't kill himself). Eon definitely put Jet-Vac in charge of watching over Free Ranger (or training him, depending on who you ask).

(Semi-Canon) Free Ranger dislikes enclosed spaces because he has to move. If he doesn't move for a small period of time, he would explode (figuratively, not literally).

Slobber Tooth

(Semi-Canon) He has a BIG appetite. If you aren't careful, he would raid your pantry. Maybe it's because he was sleeping for thousands of years.

(Semi-Canon) He isn't incredibly smart, but he also isn't dumb as bricks, either. He knows his own strength, and he also knows better not to eat the other Skylanders (from common sense, y'know).

His jaw is very strong, strong enough to chew through most metal, rocks, and... anything, really. Gotta get some iron in your diet somehow.

Snap Shot

Would (and probably has) wrestle with a Fire Viper when given the chance.

Very competitive, but he isn't a sore loser.

(Semi-Canon) He's extremely popular amongst all of the citizens of Skylands, and a lot of kids idolize him. However, he's very modest, and a little bit shy and bashful around his fans.

Him and Wolfgang have had their own fair share of... err, escapades. After Wolfgang was accepted as a Skylander, they both have a friendly rivalry, constantly trying to one-up eachother.

Stormblade

Stormblade's willingness to become a Skylander grew when she first met Jet-Vac when he visited her village. She was told that she would have to "be a bit older" before she could join. Soon after, Free Ranger took her under his wing (no pun intended) and helped train her into who she is.

She's a bit of a perfectionist, and is always trying to push herself. However, she's also incredibly wreckless, leading her to getting seriously hurt because she doesn't know her own limits.

She has a friendly rivalry with Spitfire, another daredevil.

Incredibly empathetic.

Thrillipede

Tells some of the stupidest, yet funniest jokes (dad jokes).

If you don't have a dad, he is your dad now. You have no choice in the matter.

While he doesn't look to be the type, he actually enjoys baking as a hobby. He makes a really good cheesecake.

(Semi-Canon) He and Buzz go way back, and by way back, I mean they were friends since high school. They were a force to be reckoned with, and they still talk about the old times together.

I have way more to say about these two, but I'll put it in a separate post so it isn't just a bunch of word vomit, LOL. All you need to know right now is that these are redesign concepts for Wildstorm and Air Strike.

And here's Henrey, the man of the hour! The father of Nora, Chara, and Percy. He's a huge nerd.

He's also like, incredibly mega queer. He works on engineering and inventing (and also has a PhD in psychology, somehow, so I guess he's a doctor as well?). He'd be a character who first appears in Giants, with a small role. Then, he comes back in SWAP Force to serve a major role.

In SWAP Force, you first meet him in Iron Jaw Gulch. Then, he's revealed to be Sharpfin's apprentice (yeah, probably never saw that coming, did you?). He'd serve the same function as Cali in SSA and Giants, giving out these Heroic Challenges to the Skylanders (and serve as maybe a possible replacement to the Bonus Missions?). His character in SWAP Force consists of a very timid, not so confident young adult, kind of sorta.

Then he's absent in Trap Team.

And he comes back in SuperChargers. This time, he's the head mechanic with Sharpfin being his co-worker (oh, how the turn tables), and he'd have a little sibling dynamic with Mags (as in, they'd constantly be at eachothers throats, all of the time). He's a lot more cynical in this game, and a lot more tired, and stressed, and also very, very in love with a certain Skylander (if you can guess who it is, congratulations, you win five thousand dollars).

However, he'd lose his arm while trying to escape from the Bandit Train (okay, so to briefly explain: instead of Mags, Henrey sacrifices himself to be taken by the pirates, effectively saving Mags), because a stray pirate sword struck him through his arm, slicing it off. Yeah, he'd be out of commission for the rest of the story. When you visit him, it's clear that something is wrong. He's a lot more quiet, and vulnerable.

And then ReImagined, he makes a return, now older, and his relationship with that certain Skylander is now full throttle (I can't explain it though, because then I'd have to go into a full explanation, and this post would be WAY longer than it needed to be). He makes his return with his three kiddos traveling to his factory to stop Cerebrum's army from making robotic soldiers (the usual).

And that's about it. Also, he replaces his arm with a robotic prosthetic. Cool.

Oh, yeah, on top of all of this, I forgot to mention a few things:

He's Buzz's kid. Yeah, another one.

He's a mix between a Mabu, Fox, and Cat. Weird kid.

Did I mention that he is absolutely mega queer?

(Not me realizing I didn't post this before-)

So, here's the last of the siblings (and the middle child), Chara! She's a computer engineer and robotics expert.

She's also an inventor. She has a robot companion (who I was originally gonna draw in here somewhere, but I couldn't) named the Personal Accompanying Lad or P.A.L. (Pal). Chara is not the best with names, haha.

In ReImagined, she's the character who finds Ro-Bow and gives him the upgrades required for speech (and making arrow weapons, somehow). Unfortunately, Percy got ahold of him while she was on break, and (because he's a little shit) fed him a bunch of Shakespearean talk and plays, so Ro-Bow (in the rewrite, which I've decided to call "Re-Imagined") talks in Elizabethian.

Percy isn't allowed to be anywhere near Chara's stuff now.

She's actually the tallest of the group, with Nora being the second tallest.

Here's Dahlia, a sorceress! She's also a character in my ReImagined AU (basically an Imaginators re-write, which I will explain in fuller detail if anyone wants me to), along with the three siblings (Nora, Chara, and Percy).

In ReImagined, she was originally one of Eris' (Kaos' Mother, and no, I'm not calling her by her "canon" name because AAAAAA) co-workers (in the same way as Mesmeralda was). She took her in after she found her abandoned on the streets, because she saw her magical powers and considered it a great asset to her cause (definitely not because she has a soft spot, no no). But here's the thing: Dahlia's powers only really work when she has her scepter.

She can still use her powers without it (via the amulet on her necklace), but it comes with a drawback depending on which element she uses. For example, using a water attack would cause her to get thirsty (really thirsty), using a life attack would drain some of her energy, using a fire attack would cause her to get a fever, etc. Eris didn't know this, and Dahlia kept it hidden from her.

But, eventually Eris was trapped inside the mirror, and Dahlia would eventually retire from her whole sorceress thing. She would retire back to her hometown, Pyro Village. Unfortunately, the village would be taken over by Cerebrum's (the Brain) (and also Professor Talisman, a scientist, but he got mindcontrolled by Cerebrum, so that doesn't count) army, and the Sorcerer at the head would steal her scepter.

When the Skylanders would arrive, Dahlia makes a deal with them: retrieve her scepter, and she will help them take down Cerebrum's growing army and tyrannical reign.

That's about as much detail as I can go into without talking about the entire plot of ReImagined, oop. Also, she's autistic because yes.

If Dive-Clops were in Academy, he would've (should've) been voiced by Brennan Lee Mulligan.

This is Percy! He's Nora's younger brother, and he's the youngest of his siblings. He's the mechanic/engineer of the trio. He's also a Theatre nerd (and kind of a little shit).

He looks the most like Henrey.

(17) Willow

In my last post, I mentioned how Nora had this energetic, nature-loving girlfriend. This is the girlfriend.

Her name is Willow, and she's a ray of sunshine. But, she's also kinda clumsy and naive.

She's the same species as Tessa (who is referred to as a fox, but she's not really a fox, lol), and she grew up in Woodburrow (after it got a bunch of repairs made to it after the Sky Eater incident, whoops). She's actually Tessa's distant cousin (like, maybe once removed or something).
