Heaven is rejoicing today as a beautiful soul left earth this morning. @mrsd79, Carolyn Clark, or as some knew, CC, is no longer suffering. I'm so grateful that I met this bright, witty, and intelligent individual... right here on Tumblr. She was loved by many here and gave many the desire to continue their love of The Heughan's. An Eyewitness

As OL is dragging to an end, people start sharing their memories of things they have witnessed. This is what our friend @accardi1921 directly experienced at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con and she is now publicly sharing her memories with us for the first time ever, because she feels comfortable to do it.

She did it just before I woke up, in the comments' thread of a Sun Tzu post, out of all places (https://www.tumblr.com/sgiandubh/747346110512775168/todays-apocryphal-sun-tzu-quote?source=share) and I have kindly asked her for permission to collate her comments in here, as I did for @rosfrank's experience in Kansas City, last summer. I think these tidbits should not be lost. Both our friends being generous enough, here goes and I truly thank @accardi1921 for the trust to do so. At the start of the VIP panel in the video I posted Sam brought Caitriona into the conversation immediately. With the murmur that went through the 80 women seated it was clear that the audience didn’t want her to be part of the conversation. During this session not one question was asked regarding Caitriona or Sophie. It was Ssm and Duncan who included Caitriona in the episode memories telling us they FT her.

During the reminiscence of the past ten years Sam spoke about how they all grew together. He mentioned that very soon it would be Sophie’s 30 birthday and she was 23 when he started her Brianna journey. Again that shift.

Not interested in women who were not present.

Sam got the energy and vibe of his audience. After the photo sessions were over, and all the small talk was over and he came back on stage for his solo panel he had the temperature of the room. The female cast were not wanted in the jokes, tidbits and answers.

I was surprised because I thought 🇦🇺 women would be different. I was wrong. It’s all Sam. And then bizarrely for me, Duncan, who for them is the second best male.

The dream is JAMMF with the added bonus of being up close and personal with Sam.

Caitriona who?!

The demographics in Sydney were interesting. A lot of young tattooed women. A majority of 40-55. And then the older nana fans. For them OL is Sam. They miss Duncan and enjoy the younger men. It would have been interesting to have experienced the David Berry affect.

Having experienced this I can absolutely understand why Caitriona loathes the Cons and stays away now.

It really was an eye opener.

I actually find this very disappointing; the outlander story is told through Claire’s eyes her memories her thoughts. Shes integrally woven into Jamie’s story so why should the actors not talk about Caitriona not be spoken about? Ahh yes because I’m not a hormonally charged female who sees Sam as some sex god and who fantasise non stop about him and if there is a reason for he to speak her name through his voice they simply don’t want to hear it.

The attainable man as long as he’s only attainable to them. Weave their ‘fan fiction’, their ‘dildo diaries’ have so much of him in it and of course the token blonde big chested no named shag magnets they attach him to.

Speaking from my experience at the meeting in Madrid I can confirm that, sadly, all of this is true, with behavior that embarrassed others, and the animosity of certain fans towards Cait is very real 😞

I get his popularity I truly do. He’s a handsome devil of a man and that has created the obsessed attention. BUT fan adulation is one thing, all actors alike have their dedicated and devoted fan base, what I find eye brow twitching is the clearly obsessive cult behaviour that is unfortunately seen too often between the two demographics; very young teenage adulation and much older mothering, smothering adulation. While the young are seen as inexperienced and possibly finding their first sexual drive towards the object of their desire, spilling over to possessive behaviour - the older can actually be the more toxic in their behaviour, more inclined to the bullying, threatening need to take over and drive the “protective” emotion when clearly it’s obsessive, compulsive drive is more dangerous. I can think of a handful in this fandom who have shown their cards very early, therefore is quite obvious where their obsession lies.

Hearing this only makes it more desirable that Outlander is nearing its end so that the cast members can move on with their lives both professionally and privately without obsessive Outlander fans who drool over Sam and hate Catriona. I find the behavior of these types of fans truly absurd and disgusting.

On 12 January 2022, during the nightmarish promotional tour for 'Belfast', Caitríona appeared on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert'. Remember The Entrance of An Absolute Queen?

I quickly took a screenshot. Is anyone going to try and convince me that the woman in the photo is not pregnant?

I think that anyone who can't see the pregnancy in this photo is simply blind. This was taken on 12 January 2022. Little Soul was (supposedly) five months old at the time. Now the photo of the pregnant woman on the photographer's profile is no longer there, it has disappeared. It has evaporated.

What has happened to it? Isn't the absence of a photograph that once existed the best proof of its inconvenience? Isn't the absence of a photo the best proof it was out of place? That it has spoiled the story of someone (who is powerful)?

I love these golden nuggets, filtered through tonnes of mud.

@bat-cat-reader's account has been suspended. Again. Because someone tried too many times to connect to her Tumblr account yesterday night, European time. For seven hours in a row, from 2 to 9 AM - now that is a coordinated, furious and despicable attack!

I think I know who did it. And I would like to talk directly to you, scum of the Earth. You and ALL your sock accounts. You and all your Anons, who share the same grammar and spelling problems, ALWAYS.

WHY? Why did you do that to a woman of grace and worth, who did NOTHING to you? Why do you hate her so much, as to be rabidly determined to cut her off a community who loves her and will always be by her side?
