khaire! you may call me delphi, or us mortuary, as we are a system! we’re 19, and i personally use they/she, though we collectively use it/he! i will make sure it is put in the tags who is posting <3

it may not always be me positing on here, though i am the one who wanted to create this account as a way of dedication to Lord Hypnos and Lord Eros.

this will mostly be dedicated to Lord Hypnos, as He is who we feel most connected to lately. i hope we can make friends and share our worship via this account!

Ways to connect with Lord Hypnos 💤🛌

-gather one or more stuffed animals to put on bed and cuddle. I have a particular stuffie (my build a bear frog) that helps me feel particularly close to him.

-say prayers as you lay down

-light a candle/incense or aromatherapy (relaxing scents such as lavender, spearmint, etc)

-dedicate melatonin gummies to him if needed

-make sleepy tea/any beverage that helps you relax

-take a relaxing bath or shower

-breathing exercises before bed

-take a nap when tired

-quick meditation

-make a dream journal

-just talk to him as you fall asleep! Even just talking to him instead of doing a formal prayer really helps me relax and fall asleep quicker.

-look at a lava lamp (or another visually relaxing object)

i rarely pray for negative things happening to people, but i have for the first time (totally worth it) and i’m feeling such a rush and such a happy presence over my shoulders (where i usually feel them all)

Graveyard Etiquette

for witches, wanderers, and the quietly curious

Speak softly. The dead do not sleep, but they listen.

Never walk directly over a grave. Circle around with respect.

Leave offerings only if they are natural: flowers, stones, a whispered prayer.

Ask for permission before taking anything — even a leaf, even a photograph.

Do not bring loud music, disrespect, or ego. You are a guest.

Coins on tombstones are for the dead, not souvenirs.

If you cry, do it freely. Spirits understand grief.

Do not perform magic on a grave unless explicitly invited — by the spirit or by blood.

Never disturb animal life. Cats and crows are guardians here.

When you leave, turn back once and thank the cemetery for having you.

Some places remember. Some places respond. Walk gently.

i prayed to Lord Hypnos before i went to bed to thank Him for all he does for us and to ask Him to grant us a good sleep because we had such a bad headache, and then i slept for 17 hours. thank you very very much Lord Hypnos, my headache is now gone!
