When the summary is in my native language and the actual fic is in a different language.

That relationship one has with that one problematic tag on ao3 because the writers know ball.

(For some it may be more than one)

And you want to reccomend the fic but can't...

I don't mean it like it's a literal child.

I mean it like the way upperclassmen describe their assigned lower classmen after school orientation. The lowerclassman who are woefully ignorant of the crapshoot that will become their existance.

Murderbot is like a baby sixth grader when it comes to expieriencing and navigating it's own autonomy in the world.

Um question as I have just gotten back into another fandom....

What do people think of a stranger things a.u. where they are actually part of the Resident evil universe.

(Probably would need to rewrite certain parts of the stranger things lore to fit in universe but in fairness it would probably make more sense)

Thoughts?

A. Pidge was fifteen at the start of season one, that is not a baby. In fact, it is a year younger than the most agreed upon age of consent in countries.

B. If the fifteen year old is allowed(practically hand chosen) to fight in an intergalactic war, I do believe there is an argument for the fifteen year old to be considered a legal adult in certain capacity.

(It was not the most problematic aspect about the active fandom on social media but it definitely annoyed me.)

My current fandom self red flag is hoping someone puts my fandom of choice in either in a cult a.u. (like Midsommar) or a post apocalyptic a.u.(like the 100 t.v. show). Though I am too lazy to do ot myself.

(I have gotten close though, I have like 10 A5 notebook pages dedicated to an 100 a.u. with Arcane characters. Poorly written broad strokes but it is there.)

Me: Stranger things had an ending so unsatisfying to the fans that a bunch of people have decided they can write a more cohesive one. Where have I seen this before?

Started posting on tumblr because posting fanfic ideas/prompts on ao3 with very little ability to write a full story befor the spark dies out felt mean.

I thought i would make a few posts and leave.

But its kinda addictive

A. They are fictional characters

B. It is fanfiction

C. Half of the romantasy books being published today have 200+ year olds with barely legal significant others. (Twilight was published over two decades ago.)

D. The healthiest irl marriage i have witnessed to this day met as legal adults and have over a decade age gap.

E. Etc.

Do I like the wise one ship in the same way some people like the tomarry ship?

Like I still do not understand the appeal of tomarry (other than the dedicated fanfiction writers for the ship being genuinely talented) but I see the appeal of wiseone. Especially in the "Will is transpprted to Henry's time" or "Henry is the same age as the party" tropes
