Reinhard was worthy because he unified and took the fascism out of his monarchy. the galaxy as one and destroyed the horrible corrupt democracy. The show was pointing out that once Reinhard dies though, His vision and legend will be twisted by future generations and his descendents will stray further and further until a new Democratic revolution overturns the monarchy or a new Reinhard comes along and takes over.

One thing I love on in the show is it's depiction of democracy is very much rooted in how America was at the time, Corrupted by personal interests and Soviet Hate, war on drugs, Reagan's America. If you look at Democracy now, You see that the USA is now corrupt by people furthering their own self interests still but it's to the point where our democracy is so divided and spiteful that nothing gets done. It's slow and inefficient. Applying LoTGH to the US and China situation is really cool nowadays because China is this Big Brother fascist "communist" country.

I think what might happen in the next 20 or so years is some one like Lohengram becoming a JUST and righteous ruler of his people and possibly starting towards the creation of a global government. Most likely some one in China or America. All this turmoil is going to or already has created the next Heroic leaders in America's Big Brother Democracy and in China's Big Brother Communism
