Numbers Part 2 (5-10)

Welcome back! Picking up where I left off in Part 1.

FIVE: Freedom loving, a requirement for solitude and privacy. Five’s path is very nomadic; Lots of action and activities & in constant motion.Five is not afraid to initiate change, and as a result is versatile and adapts well in new environments. New Experiences and people gravitate towards Five due to the magnetism and attraction under this vibration.To say the least, Five is a busy bee, and very unpredictable. The urge for a change of scenery could be strong enough to make abrupt, spur of the moment.

SIX: Six vibration brings harmony and peace and restores order and balance in a situation. It’s a family oriented vibration. Maternal instincts and taking others in, nurturing & providing TLC (tender love & care). Six represents Venus (Friday, the 6th day) So think of all the associations with Venus to understand the a Six vibration. Things such as Relationships, love. Appreciation for beauty luxury and pleasure. Artistic expression etc.

SEVEN: Seven’s vibration is commonly associated with your spirituality, and its development, inner wisdom, Intuition, and psychic abilities. Seven seeks to know the answers to all of life’s questions and know all of its secrets. Seven gravitates towards the occult and esoteric knowledge. Seven can appear aloof, detached, and awkward. Social discomfort is another symptom of the seven vibe.Seven represents rest, healing, and silence. Seven is the introvert who enjoys spending time in solitude.

EIGHT: Eights vibration is similar to the One vibration in ways such as having ambition, success, natural leadership, authority, and management skills But differ in ways such as an Eight vibration’s motivation is having an expectation of financial gain for their services, however, It is a more understanding & compassionate vibration due to having the capacity to understand human nature. Eight is associated with equality and balanced scales, Eight is professional, hardworking, and at times materialistic and ego inflated.

NINE:Here we come to a completion of our single digit number cycle, associating Nine with endings, completion, and fulfillment. Nines vibration helps his fellow man, is at service to people, free of cost and without expectation of payment or glory. Nine offers universal love, though can be a bit detached inter personally. Nine is the collective consciousness, and gives us a friendly reminder that we are all connected to each other. Show love to others, as well as yourself.

TEN: You want to know who is responsible for putting the number 10 on the map? Mother fucking Pythagoras. And I’m mentioning this not because I’m about to get into details about Pythagorean philosophy, but because if you really want to know about numerology, you should do some more research on him.  It will shed more light on number vibrations a lot better than I ever could.

So, Ten  is reduced back to One. Giving it the same qualities, but being accompanied by Zero, those qualities are amplified. Ten signifies attainment and wholeness, perhaps a completed journey; Ten is the source of all things, and where they will return. Tens vibration can affect us in both bad and good ways, and is determined by the karma we bring upon ourselves. So, here we find self discipline, experience, and new beginnings. People nowadays will of use the scale 1-10 to rank quality; Ten being closest to perfection. Ten is a mysterious number, indeed.  I associate Ten with depth, vastness, mystery, secrets, esoteric knowledge, the unknown, and the universe.

Once again, apply the elemental influence to the number vibrations to generate interpretations. I believe this should be done reading by reading due to the endless combinations of ways to interpret a reading, and assigning a meaning to each card individually limits you and your intuition.

Numbers Part 1

Numbers 1-5

Instead of giving  you all a list of “card meanings” for each card I feel its more helpful to just go through the numerologic vibrations & other associations and let you do the rest.. How it works is you apply the influence of the suit to the number vibration to determine the  meaning. How ever you guys want to interpret that, however, is up to you.

ONE: The source, the start, the beginning, the sun. Because One is the first number it is thought to be represent God or the divine. One is the divine source; without one all other numbers would cease to exist. one can be a symbol for both unity, and solitude. One is original, unique, a leader, the first. One has pure energy vibrations straight from the source, and when seen in a card reading is thought to represent an opportunity from the divine. Its energy should be harnessed and used to manifest your dreams into reality.

TWO: Two is a follower, two doesn’t mind compromising, or meeting halfway. Two can be sensitive, emotional, intuitive and receptive. Two indicates a difference, or a separation, it represents duality, polarity, couples, pairs, matches twins, our relationships, partnerships, agreements, teamwork, cooperation. Two could represent exchanges and interactions between two individuals.

THREE: Three is enthusiastic, and upbeat. It represents the trinity in life ( mind/body/spirit– past, present, future etc.) and often thought to symbolize the Holy Trinity; making Three a symbol of religion. Three is associated with increases of things, expanding, advancing, growing. Three indicates involvement of multiple parties. It could be a sign of third-party involvement/ interference, meddling. Three is very sociable and could be a sign of a gathering, or event. Three is uneven, and scattered and can show a lack of focus.Those who are superstitious repeat some thing three times when they wish to call it into manifestation, and I associate that with luck, magic and wishes being made.

FOUR: At this point in the number cycle, things begin to stabilize. No longer can vibrations remain disorganized, and they begin to organ towize themselves in a systemic fashion. Four is associated with which that is solid, and able to be touched. The things manifested into the material realm, and earthly things. It indicates a strong foundation, security, stability, organization, accomplishing goals, productivity. Four also can describe 4 walls, 4 sides, 4 wheels, 4 leg, things that are square.

FIVE: Mid way through the cycle, we stop and reflect on which way we reflect on our path and choose which way we will continue to go, Five is a freedom loving vibration that  needs no restrictions or limitation, Five is in constant motion, not afraid of to initiate change. Five is adaptable, and versatile, Because Five is faced with many experiences and opportunities it will never remain in one place too long. New experiences and people gravitate towards Five; a reminder to make room for the new things to fill your life by getting rid old thing that no longer serve you.

Oh Where, Oh Where, Oh Where Is Shadow???

In my last post I mentioned What I call a shadow self. I believe that everybody has one of these “shadow selves”. They follow us around everywhere we go and we don’t always allow them to come to the surface. We hold the shadow self back because we can choose to align with our higher nature. The shadow self hides within the rifts of our flaws & only manifest when we are weakened or stimulated. I’m sure there are some people who are weaker than others and their shadow tends to surface more frequently than those who are able to control their self destructive impulses. Our shadow self is equivalent to the secrets about yourself that make even you feel uncomfortable. So, technically the decisions and mistakes made within the shadows are things you WANTED and a part of your real self, but I don’t believe everything done within the shadows is an accurate representation of who we are as a person... One who wakes up in the morning, and not much later finds his mind in the shadows is probably a person who isn’t troubled by guilt or shame. But I believe drugs and alcohol have the ability to bring your shadow self to the surface... And these are the moments where you may not even think twice before making poor choices because that’s not your nature, and by the time the shadow descends back into the rifts within your flaws and traumas it’s too late...

The shitty thing about this is that when the shadow affects people in your life, those people have every right to not be compassionate or understanding... You can’t expect anyone to just put up with that and forgive you because you were shit faced. That’s fine with me, they do not have to forgive me, but I think the thing that bugs me the most is that someone you probably care for thinks it’s just because you are a shitty person or friend... People can deny their shadow all they want, but we all have one. Unless you are completely surrounded in darkness, your shadow is beside you somewhere. And people tend to forget that when they feel wronged or betrayed.. almost like they can’t relate. Like they never had intrusive thoughts about sex, violence, power, etc. Like not once in their life they wanted / needed something to the point of desperation? Like they are mindful, and considerate at all times, and self serving thoughts never cross their mind. In my experience with others, I believe most people don’t even realize how often their flaws and weaknesses show. No sense of self awareness when they make mistakes, but the moment you got caught up in a moment of weakness or indulgence all the good they saw in you before is down the toilet...

Being able to express shadow self in a non- self destructing fashion is helpful for the balance between black and white... Although, many times there is no healthy way to express a shadow... it just depends on how deep the trenches in your psyche truly are. In that case, perhaps you should discipline yourself and learn to control your impulses. Other times I feel like some folks don’t feel bothered or ashamed of their shadow... good for those people I suppose, glad they are happy, but that person is likely to be the type that consciously knows that their behavior is harmful to themselves and the people in their lives, but don’t seem to mind as long as they are okay in the end. But there’s nothing healthy or safe about that because all of that darkness will catch up with you. Balance is key... Find your outlet for the shadow, but not at anyone’s else’s expense...

With that being said, is it possible to be too moral and virtuous? If your shadow is repressed in your rifts for years, is it possible that maybe it will manifest when you least expect and haunt you like an angry spirit? I think this is true... I feel as if this happens to a lot of good people and causes them unnecessary stress or conflict. We don’t hold our waste when we need to use the bathroom, or swallow our vomit... it’s a similar concept.. it is like... waste we need to expel; otherwise it will only get worse... I feel like this might be why I act out when I drink too much... And why my conscience is so heavy afterwards. I care about people in general, even people I have no attachment to can pull my heart strings. Hurting someone’s feelings in any way just makes me feel like a wad of shit paper. The issue could even be blown out of proportion and they aren’t trying to reason and I still feel like I could have done better or obligated to make things right... and I practice mindful habits, always doing little things that people probably don’t even notice to make things easier or save time, I’m very giving of my time and resources, very forgiving, very tolerant of people I’m not fond of, and I think all of this sweet, thoughtful kindness might be an attempt to smother my shadow self....

BECAUSE I DONT FUCKING LIKE MY SHADOW SELF...

At least not while she’s influencing my behavior while Im drunk. I try to let her surface while having sex if I can... I just need to find someone just as twisted deep down to help me let her out. Which is why I don’t like one night stands and hookups... I never feel comfortable getting freaky on day one... it is gonna take a little trust for me to willingly express the ugliest aspect of myself (in my opinion) , and somehow enjoy it with no shame or remorse... idk about anyone else, but a sex life like that is the most satisfying, and fulfilling. It just gets better and better the more we let our walls down...

For those who’s shadow self is violent, deceptive, embarrassing, abusive etc, good luck finding a healthy outlet... I’d recommend getting back to the basics and think more about the consequences of your shadow self, and not only how they affect you, but others as well. But y’all already know this..

I hope you all find your outlet, I hope soon the unnecessary crap that could have been avoided clear up, and you are able to find a balance between dark and light. And I hope people can see your mistakes and regrets don’t reflect who you truly are.

You hear a new get-thin-quick promise on social media nearly every day. Do this work out! Give up that snack! Only eat grapefruit! But this is all BS. These are the silliest, unhealthiest, and just plain wrong weight-loss tips diet experts have ever heard.

1.       Bad Advice: Always Choose Low-Fat Instead of Full-Fat

Why it’s wrong: The low-fat craze of the ‘90s and 2000s has left a lot of people thinking that they have to eat low-fat everything in order to lose weight. In reality, when you take the fat out, you have to replace it with something else to keep the taste, and that usually means adding a lot more sugar or salt. Not to mention fat could actually help you lose weight. A low-carb diet trumps a low-fat diet when it comes to weight loss. The low-carb dieters in a study lost an extra 8 pounds over the course of 12 months even though the two groups stuck to a similar number of calories.

2.       Bad Advice: Indulge In a Cheat Day Once a Week

Why it’s wrong: Eating healthy six days a week and then digging into what you’ve been missing on day seven is a pretty common dieting practice. But in reality, the plan could undermine your weight-loss efforts altogether. This idea sets up negative feelings about food and health in one’s mind. This way of thinking also suggests the diet is temporary rather than a lifestyle you can stick to for the long haul; instead treat yourself in moderation each day.

3.       Bad Advice: Everyone Should Go Vegan or Vegetarian

Why it’s wrong: Many people assume that switching to a vegan or vegetarian diet means they will automatically lose weight. It’s true vegan and vegetarian diets are heavy on fruits and vegetables, but not all the approved foods are virtuous. There are plenty of vegan junk foods-Oreos, potato chips, Cracker Jacks, to name a few. Plus, vegans and vegetarians may be prone to loading up on unhealthy carbs, like bread and pasta, to satisfy their hunger when nixing animal protein.

While you probably will feel better and more energized if you spread three meals throughout the day and sprinkle in a couple snacks to curb a growling stomach, for normal, healthy individuals without medical conditions, there is no need to force yourself to eat six meals per day.

Why it’s wrong: You don’t need to drink disgusting juice for a week and suffer through headaches and hunger to detox. Our bodies are innately designed to detox-that’s what the liver is for. Plus, sipping your meals for a week means you’ll miss out on protein, and your body will start to break down muscle tissue.

7.       Bad Advice: Eat Whatever You Want-So Long As You Exercise

Why it’s wrong: We all want a free pass to indulge, but spending 45 minutes on the elliptical isn’t going to cut it. When it comes to weight loss, diet is king. When looked at, diet, exercise, or diet plus exercise had the greatest long-term effect on your health. Turns out, diet was a much more effective way to lose weight and fat than exercise alone, though diet plus exercise was even better. Unfortunately, most people and exercise machines overestimate the number of calories burned during a workout, which gives people a false sense of ‘I can eat anything’ which can actually lead to weight gain.

Why it’s wrong: It comes down to simple math. Eating more calories than you are burning will lead to weight gain, not the time of day when those calories are consumed. Just try to make the last meal of the day a balanced one with healthy proteins, fats, and carbohydrates.

10.   Bad Advice: Swear Off Gluten

Why it’s wrong: You’ll likely lose weight when you eliminate gluten-laden cakes, cookies, and bread, but it’s probably the result of slashing calories rather than gluten. If you don’t have a real gluten intolerance or celiac disease, you’re teaching your body to forget how to process gluten. 11.   Bad Advice: Don’t Snack Between Meals

Why it’s wrong: Snacking can actually keep you on track and prevent blood sugar roller coasters that leave you hangry. When you don’t snack, your body learns to live in ‘starvation mode’ and your metabolism slows down as your body adjusts and compensates. Your body then hangs onto extra energy at meals by turning it into fat because it’s expecting that it will need that fat in case you don’t eat for a while. Just choose your snacks wisely: A mix of protein, healthy fat, and vegetable and fruit carbohydrates every few hours will keep your metabolism running.
