I’ve been going through Social Hell (trademark) for the past month and I’ve just. Been so tired.
Every time something happens I get upset and then seemingly forget that I’m even upset. Like I’ll cry and then the next day or hour or whatever I just can’t feel anything in comparison. And the past month or so has been one incident after another, all combined into one large incident that I didn’t even realize could get as bad as it has already.
When the whole thing started, I was working with my therapist on how to grow from it, and I was working on some skills that I had been criticized on and struggling with. But the situation got worse, and I’m not even sure just how bad it is yet.
I don’t know whether I’m simply a terrible person to be around and somehow can’t realize that, if I’m unfortunate enough to not have seen this coming, or what. I had people who I thought I was on good terms with turn out to not like me at all, or maybe even hate me. I’m not sure.
I was working on doing better for the people I was around. And I will continue to work on myself, for their benefit and my own. But it’s very disheartening to know that even when I try to work on what I was told made me annoying and uncomfortable to be around, I’m still too uncomfortable and annoying to be around.
Sorry for being absent, it’s not really because of this whole thing, I’ve just been tired lately and haven’t been wanting to post or scroll on here anyway. Probably for the best, to be honest.
Sorry for the rant (? Vent? Complaining? I don’t know.)
Have a nice day!
I had always been careful with emotion. Always controlled. Always distant.

Whump Prompt #1650
Everyone thinks the whumpee is just an asshole because they’re always on edge… but the thing is, they’re carrying a lot on their plate.
If they’re not getting shit from their boss, it’s an issue with their family, then an issue at work, then an issue with their car etc etc. They cannot catch a break. Every night the whumpee feels guilty for their actions, but every day reveals a challenge that they feel like they have to overcome on their own… until one person offers to help them.
The whumpees following breakdown is ugly to say the least, because when was the last time someone offered to help them?
I wish I could be myself effortlessly but I’ve repressed everything so much that I’ve honestly forgotten how to be me
A groan rose from deep in her beleaguered soul, but she didn't let it loose.

Rebecca was far too disciplined a person to show much open emotion in public.
