Do we even need to bring up the receipts with Wanda and the rest of the avengers and even the inhumans in how they’ve time and time again screwed over the entire mutant community whenever it suited them like the fake ass friends they are?

In all fairness I get that she and quicksilver would be important Romani characters, but note that if it wasn’t for those two, mutantkind wouldn’t have been driven to near extinction, MULTITUDES of depowered mutants who didn’t do a goddamn thing to them in the first place (they were treated as royalty by mutant kind not only in house of M but earth 616 as well) wouldn’t have been killed in horrific acts of terrorism, and Cyclops wouldn’t have been vilified for putting his people first at all times. And what makes this worse (blame the fucking writers sure, but it doesn’t change the fact overall.) is that them finding out that they weren’t even mutants made this even more fucked up.

But on the real, the avengers only came for her because of what she did to THEM SPECIFICALLY because they really didn’t give a shit about mutants at all. DESPITE THEM HAVING MUTANTS IN THE GODDAMN AVENGERS. They mostly just ignored what she did afterwards because it mostly didn’t affect them.

Technically it’s an act of racism and genocide whether you wanna accept it or not and she got to walk away like it was nothing because in the marvel universe, they don’t give a shit about mutants at all. Fuck her.

as for someone who had to deal with an abusive father, i think this post is gross. my therapist always said to me that forgiveness is not about making the other person happy or lifting them up. forgiveness is about loving yourself enough to let go of the burden of hatred. forgiving someone who did shitty things to you is not terrible. its actually very good for your heart and soul.
