So i’m just gonna go ahead and say that I’m OBSESSED with the wizarding world merging with the muggle world, artists and photographers talking about moving portraits and photos and muggles enjoying wizarding history etc. I was watching Catfish today and I was thinking about how wizards could take it one step further with polyjuice potion. Like imagine if Draco had tricked Harry into going on a date with him by pretending to be Ginny and he set up a whole tinder profile or something, catfishing people with her photos and then turning up looking like her too. I know there are some problems with that, such as he’d have to have a strand of her hair and stuff but IMAGINE!?!

Sometimes I just completely forget that I used to be friends with the daughter of the guy who Harry Potter was actually based on, and that I go to the same school that JK Rowling used to go to. When I bring it up in conversation people are usually really surprised and even though I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan it just slips my mind...

If Draco has had a bad day at work then Harry will go out of his way to make him feel better. First he will go and lay Draco's pyjamas in front of the warm fire, then he will change the bed sheets so that they're nice and soft.He then cooks Draco's favorite meal and buys the most expensive bottle of wine he can lay his hands on. The bath is then filled to the top with hot bubbles and the night will end with Draco curled into Harry's side under the warm duvet, muttering 'thank you' to him as many times as possible before he falls asleep.

Dumbledore’s husband

*This is a conversation that took place this afternoon while my girlfriend and I were at the Warner Brothers studio tour*

My girlfriend: There could’ve been a little more LGBT representation, I mean it’s all well and good saying Dumbledore is gay after the books have come out and I’m sure JK meant well and I’m not saying he had to be a sparkly drag queen or anything

Me: I KNOW LIKE HE COULD’VE HAD A HUSBAND OR SOMETHING!

MG: Yeah! called Terry!

Me: Terry? okay! And all he does is sit at home in an armchair, eat stale biscuits and drinks strong tea

MG: where would he fit into the books tho

Me: AHH you see secretly Albus WAS a sparkly drag queen at some wizarding club and somehow Terry, he’s a muggle by the way, I just decided, managed to get into this club and fell in love with Dumbledore in his fishnets and corset.

MG: AND THEN TERRY GETS HIT BY THE KNIGHTBUS AND DIES AND THAT’S WHY DUMBLEDORE IS SUCH A DICK

Me: hmmm maybe AND ALSO WHEN DUMBLEDORE IS CALLED INTO AN EMERGENCY MEETING IT’S BECAUSE TERRY WANTS TO SEE HIM

Jonathan’s book in “In a Heartbeat”

After watching it a thousand times (and a sleepless night, at that!), I became quite curious as to what book Jonathan was holding in the short film! Pausing at the correct moment and taking a closer look, one can see the author and title of the book in his hands, which is “The Picture of Dorian Gray” by Oscar Wilde. This is a real book, but in the short film, it reads “The Picture of Dorian Gay”… 

I see what you did there, Esteban and Beth ;))))

Note: Even when speaking about the original book, it is speculated that Dorian Gray was a gay story. THIS is why I love films with small details–they have the best discoveries. (Also, Oscar Wilde is gay…damn i love this short film)

Happy birthday Harry Potter

Harry's birthday is something that Draco looks forward to all year round. It's his excuse to shower him with lavish gifts and sumptuous treats that Harry would usually bashfully decline. The morning starts with Draco bringing in breakfast with steaming coffee for a rather groggy Harry before sitting on the edge of the bed like a restless toddler while he waits for him to open his gifts. Usually the gifts include expensive designer robes, rare trinkets and decadent chocolates that Draco got imported from Switzerland, but this year Draco wanted to make an impact. When Harry sat on their bed and picked up the tiny mahogany box he had no idea that it was going to change his life forever. Inside that tiny little box sat a heavy gold engagement band. Draco had spent months contemplating how to propose and yet the simplicity of how it turned out made it more magical than he could've ever imagined. Watching Harry's eyes widen as he opened the box, with the sunlight streaming in across his pale face and the soft gasp when he realised just what the gift was made Draco happier than when he had given Harry hundreds of expensive knick-knacks.
