Hey I'm Jack, and I'm in Slytherin House. But don't frown at me right away, I'm alright if you get to know me. I somehow became friends with a Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and a Ravenclaw, you may have heard of them. I happen to be a chaser in the Hogwarts Quidditch team, and I'm pretty decent at charms. concerning RP and stuff

// I'm not sure if I want to keep this account for a long time. RPing is fun, but I often find myself having to force out some answers, and it becomes... well, not fun. I've actually been roleplaying for around four years, and I really do love it, but I'm not sure about this muse. I think I do a decent job of portraying slytherin!Jack? But I just find I'm able to more easily rp as female characters and have an easier time developing them. I'm going to try and keep this account alive, maybe... I'm not sure. I just feel more bold with a character that's either mine, or some altered version of a character that I've personally come up with. Who knows. I love Slytherin!Jack, but I don't know if I love roleplaying as him.

One More Night: Guardian's Ball

Jack slowed ask he reached the corner that led to the staircase. Hesitating, he took a deep breath. Maybe she’s not even there yet, it’s just Evera. He reassured himself, straightening his shoulders and turning the corner as casually as he could.

Immediately his eyes found her; she wore a long blue dress, and her silky brown hair was piled elegantly atop her head. The Evera he knew was fond of sweaters and easy getaway shoes on her days off; but this Evera was so stunning that he hovered in his tracks for a moment. 

Jack composed himself once more, not speaking at first, only giving her a crooked smile as his eyes met her. Slowly walking towards her in his usual long strides, Jack reached the bottom of the staircase and held out his hand towards her. 

"Ready for a little fun?"

A glimpse of familiar white locks caught the corner of Evera’s eye, and she followed it to meet Jack’s gaze. She flashed him a smile as she reached the bottom of the steps, her brown eyes standing out more than usual by the makeup Rose had applied for her.

He wore a black suit she never would have imagined him wearing voluntarily without the promise of trouble and sported a green tie, matching the colours of his house. His hair was in its usual disarray, and as always, Evera had to withhold the desire to reach out and run her fingers through it.

Matching his pace, she reached the bottom step in time with him. She gave him a wicked smile that looked like mischief. “I’ve been ready my whole life," she assured him as she placed her hand in his. She stepped onto the landing and scanned the room once before looking back at him. “So have you anything in particular planned for tonight, or are we going to work with what we find?"

Now that she was closer, he could see her face more clearly. Evera looked stunning in his opinion, and he wondered, as he often did, how girls managed to apply makeup so expertly. She wore enough that it made a difference, but she still looked herself. His usual half grin widened at her words, and his eyes didn't break their gaze with hers.  

"I have a few ideas, but I'm not sure we'll be the only ones with a little more planned at the ball, so it's a little bit of both," Jack explained. "First things's first though, we have to get there. Headmaster Moon organized a floo power transportation area by his quarters," Jack nodded to the side, motioning that they should probably be off.

One More Night: Guardian's Ball

Jack rooted around in his trunk for some supplies, mainly his notebook that contained his favourite spells. 

“Ah, here you are,” Jack pulled out the black leather book, flipping through the pages with a smirk. “This should be enough for tonight,” he chuckled, tucking it inside his dress robes. 

He stood to examine himself in the mirror again, wondering who would be at the event. He was aware that it wasn’t only Hogwarts students, but they did say magic was allowed… Jack pushed his curiosities aside and ran a hand through his hair. He felt odd in such formal clothing, but he thought it looked decent nonetheless. Checking the tall grandfather clock in the corner, he saw that it read 6:30. Straightening himself out one last time, Jack took a deep breath and closed the door to the dormitories behind him as he made his way down to the common room. Jack was never one to linger long, and he quickly strode out and up the stairs in the direction of their meeting place. 

He found his mind wandering to Evera, he’d never thought about the fact that she’d be dressed up as well. Jack could feel his ears heat up at the idea and he pressed on, trying not to think about it.

For the first time in her life, Evera was thankful that she’d had so much practice walking in heels as she made her way through the crowd of students and to the portrait hole. She wasn’t quite sure if she’d imagined it, but she thought she heard her name murmured a few times in a tone intended to be too low for her to hear. She caught a girl trailing her gaze across her hair, knowing that she was following the thin braids which weaved and wound around the thick sections piled delicately below the crown of her head. The effect of it along with her earrings and necklace highlighted the grace in the curve of her neck.

Her wand was strapped in a holster just above her ankle, and she had practiced drawing it rapidly several times before she’d felt comfortable with its unfamiliar location. Lifting her skirt, she climbed out off the common room and shut the Fat Lady’s portrait behind herself. She turned and quickly left the corridor before the painting could make a wry comment on her appearance.

The stairwells were mostly unoccupied, which Evera appreciated as she ran her hand along the stone railing. She thought of Jack and her insides fluttered with nervousness and excitement. She reached the grand staircase and began to descend, her cheeks warming as she scanned the room for Jack.

One More Night: Guardian's Ball

“Wake up Frost!” One of his teammates called from below him, shaking him out of his stupor just in time for Jack to dodge a bludger flying his way. Taking a deep breath, Jack narrowed his eyes, focusing back on the task at hand. Today’s practice was a half game, splitting the team in two and modifying the rules a bit to account for the smaller sides. Jack was the only seeker on the pitch, and though he did end the game, no points were awarded to either side. Nevertheless, he had to keep his eyes out for the tiny golden ball. 

Catching sight of what could be the telltale yellow flicker of the snitch, Jack dove in the direction of the brief flicker. Dodging his teammates, Jack skimmed low to the ground as the golden ball became clearer. It hovered at the end of the pitch before shooting up spontaneously. Jack knew the movements of the ball too well though, and his broom quickly followed, whipping his silver hair back from his face. Urging his deep brown broom further, Jack dodged and cut along with the snitch, gaining slowly. Taking a sharp left, he shot his hand out, fingers grasping cool metal. A shoot of sparks erupted from their scorer’s wand, signalling the end of the match. 

“The match was only starting to get really good,” the team captain complained, raising an eyebrow. 

“Sorry, it seems to be a bit tired today,” Jack unfurled his fingers to reveal the gently fluttering snitch. “Or maybe I’m just unbelievable,” he smirked, handing the ball over. 

“Take the practice off, we don’t need you,” his teammate joked, giving him a shove. 

“Well thanks, I’m sure our kind captain won’t mind either,” Jack gripped his broom, eager to get out of there. His captain only rolled their eyes, nodding at the sky. 

“Yeah, we don’t have any games soon anyways, go on Frost.” As soon as it was confirmed Jack kicked off, calling back a quick thanks as he raced back to the castle.

As soon as the blue dress was zipped into place, Evera knew it was the one she would be wearing that night. Its cut was flattering without making her feel self-conscious, and the skirt was loose and layered. She knew that she could run in it should she have to - and it was likely she would. Seeing her smile of satisfaction, the girls began to coo over the dress. Evera caught her own eye in the mirror. “This is the weirdest day of my life,” she murmured to herself. 

“What was that?” Alex asked, her gaze flicking from the dress to meet Evera’s.

“I said this’ll be the most wonderful day of my life,” she amended. She bit her lip to stop herself from laughing at the grossly sweet statement, clamping down harder as the trio made noises of appreciation. “What am I doing, standing her alone in my dress? You all should start getting ready too,” she advised, growing uncomfortable with the amount of attention from the girls she’d never related to. As she turned, however, she could not help herself from being surprised and pleased by the way the skirt swirled around herself.

Once the three were dressed, they began to work on hair and makeup. Thoroughly included now, Evera joined in with a grateful and somewhat amused manner. She had never taken the time to learn the techniques the other three had mastered, but after she watched them for a while, they intrinsically began to work on herself. They sprayed and massaged various product into her hair, the kinds of which Evera would not know where to find should she have previously known of it. They yanked and braided her long, silky hair, then painted her face, chattering all the while.

Time passed - more time than Evera would have expected such a process to last - before the four were finally prepared. Katy had spilled a container of product onto herself, burning a hole into the fabric that worried Evera of its affect upon her hair. To show her gratitude, Evera offered the girl one of her own dresses. She had selected the pink option after thanking her almost incessantly after Evera assured her she could keep the gown, too.

Evera felt oddly out of place, being fawned over by the three girls. Despite having spent the past seven years sharing a dormitory with them, she had never really exchanged much beyond pleasantry. It had somewhat of a relief for the trio of friends to not have to feel the guilt of excluding a fourth member of their rooms, as Evera never showed interest for it.

Katy helped her into the golden dress with embellishments on its bodice, fastening hooks and setting its skirt. The silky fabric clung to Evera in an unfamiliar manner which caused her to feel naked. She took an experimental step, and was displeased by the restrictions the skirt set. “I don’t think this is the one,” she announced.

With a swift motion Katy unhooked the dress. “So who are you going with?” she asked. The question was mild, but Evera could feel the curiosity burning beneath it. “Um, Jack Frost,” she admitted. Alex’s eyebrows shot up, disappearing behind her chestnut coloured bangs. “Jack Frost…from Slytherin, Jack Frost?” Rose added to Alex’s question: “Merida’s friend, Jack Frost?”

“That’s the one,” Evera answered, a smile playing around her lips. The dress removed, Rose replaced it in its coverings as Evera retrieved the blue gown. Unzipping the back of the strapless dress, she stepped into it and lifted it into place. As Katy helped her zip up the second dress, she wondered what the girls thought of the mischievous boy she found so distracting.

“Great, it’s great,” he grinned, bouncing on the balls of his feet again restlessly. “Well, I’ll let you go for now,” he began to take slow steps back, shifting his weight as he loosened his tie further. “I’ll see you then,” he beamed, unable to shade his excitement as he waved to her, turning and bounding back down the stairs. 

Jack held back an eager laugh as he jumped a moving staircase to catch the next one, much to the distaste of students surrounding him. Evera is seriously the coolest, he thought, feeling extremely lucky and relieved that she didn’t shut out the idea of improving the dance with a little more fun. Quidditch practice for the Slytherin team was usually today, and the ball didn’t stop anything. It was off school grounds, but the organizers had contacted Hogwarts and somehow made it possible. Jack had even heard that Headmaster Moon was going to be visiting the festivities. 

Better make sure he doesn’t catch me in anything if he does turn up.

“See you then,” Evera echoed to Jack, beaming as she waved. Once he’d turned the corner she did a quick dance of enthusiasm. Her eyes sparkling with excitement, she turned to the portrait hole. The Fat Lady was watching her with an air of superiority, opening her mouth to comment. Before she could utter her first word Evera interrupted her. “Oh, shut it,” she told her as she climbed through the portrait hole, but she couldn’t hide the glee in her expression. 

She raced to her dormitory, flinging the doors open and leaping gratuitously toward the hooks on which her three dresses hung sheathed in protective covers. She unzipped the first to see that it was pink. Scrunching her nose with distaste, she immediately whipped the zipper back to the top of its track. Evidently this was one her mother had packed for her. “Should have left that one in the trunk,” she said to herself.The second dress was gold, and the third blue.

Standing before the tall mirror adorning the wall she held the dresses up to herself, alternating from one to the other. Behind her the three girls she shared the dormitory with entered suddenly and stopped, cutting off their chatter. The two parties’ eyes met in the mirror, and held. Evera’s face paled somewhat as she prepared for ridicule. 

And then the three girls’ faces spread into friendly grins. “My god,” said Rose, shaking her head slightly. “Evera is considering wearing a dress.” Alex spoke next. “I never thought I’d see the day!” The three of them moved to stand around her, inspecting her choices. Katy touched the fabric of the long, blue dress. “It’s for the Ball, right? Try them on!” Evera smiled, deciding to consent to the attention.

Jack bounded down the steps to the Slytherin common room, almost bumping into the Thorston twins as he opened the heavy wooden door. Brushing past them quickly, he didn't have a lot of time as usual, he made his way up to his room in long strides. Changing hurriedly and grabbing his broom from under his bed, he mentally cursed the low situation of the Slytherin rooms. Jack would usually find a window and make a quick exit out of the castle, much to the disturbance of some students and professors, but the Slytherin common rooms had to be partially submerged in a lake. 

The twins were still lingering in the doorway when he ran back down the stairs, and they stopped whatever arguing they were engaging in to glance at him. 

"Late again Jack?" Tuffnutt mocked, chuckling along with his sister. Jack and the notorious Thorston pair got along pretty well when there was trouble to be stirred, but Jack often could get out of trouble by placing the blame on the slower, less sneaky twins. They got their revenge back with harmless japes and the occasional prank attempts. 

"I won't be if you'd please excuse me," Jack smiled, ducking around them. Closing the wooden door quickly behind him, Jack ran up the steps, pulling on his gloves and didn't slow his pace as his steps echoed against the low stone halls.

Evera did her best to suppress her enthusiasm as Jack began to make his request, already suspecting what it would be. Her lips twitched despite her best efforts, then spread into a grin as he feigned a deep bow. She raised an eyebrow slightly as he met her gaze, her eyes already alight upon his mention of mischief. 

After a moment’s pause she sank into a curtsy, exaggerated to match Jack’s bow. “It would be my pleasure to accompany you to the Ball,” she said with a wry smile. “But only if the trouble is guaranteed.”

Jack almost laughed in relief and excitement, straightening himself out with a wave of his hand. ”Only the most quality mischief for the lady,” he smirked, moving aside slightly to make way for passing students. “I can find you before the Ball at around seven? Where should I meet you?” Jack asked, mentally going through his various preparations.

Her thoughts strayed to the dress she had packed at the beginning of the school year in case she found herself attending the Ball. Truthfully she had intentions for it to be more of a disguise, something to let her blend into the crowd as she found mischief. Now it seemed she would be able to wear it for two purposes.

Jack shoved his hands deeper in his pockets, staring at the ceiling as he lingered outside of the Gryffindor commonroom. It wasn’t an uncommon sight to see Jack Frost hanging around, being that almost everyone knew about his unusual choice in friends. 

He’d asked Merida to tell Evera that he wanted to talk to her, but Jack couldn’t shake the restlessness that settled over him as he waited. Bouncing on the balls of his feet, he tried to remember what he wanted to say when he heard the slow shifting of the Fat Lady’s portrait.

Thanking Merida for passing on Jack’s message, Evera rose from her fireside armchair and made her way out of the common room. She tugged on the sleeves of her robe as she wondered what the redhead thought of her growing association with Jack.

Evera climbed out of the portrait hole, pushing her brown locks out of her face. She gave him a smile as the portrait door swung shut. “Hi,” she greeted him cheerfully, “Merida said you wanted to speak with me?”

And Jack, being the overprotective brother, would protect Emma from them. Jack would ask Toothiana and Merida to look after Emma (since his sister is in Gryffindor) Jack and Flynn are best guy buddies (zen master of pranks). Rapunzel, Merida, Ana (Toothiana) and Astrid are girlfriends. Merida and Astrid likes to have spar together. Toothiana and Rapunzel likes to paint together. (remember the painting in tooth’s palace?) Hiccup and Astrid are in an official relationship. Rapunzel and Flynn has a crush on one another. Ana has one-sided crush on Jack. Though Jack calls Toothiana her old nickname “Tooth” (because Jack’s closest friend is Tooth, besides Flynn.) and everyone calls Toothiana, Ana. One More Night: Guardian's Ball

Jack shoved his hands deeper in his pockets, staring at the ceiling as he lingered outside of the Gryffindor commonroom. It wasn't an uncommon sight to see Jack Frost hanging around, being that almost everyone knew about his unusual choice in friends. 

He'd asked Merida to tell Evera that he wanted to talk to her, but Jack couldn't shake the restlessness that settled over him as he waited. Bouncing on the balls of his feet, he tried to remember what he wanted to say when he heard the slow shifting of the Fat Lady's portrait.
