Happy thanksgiving! I hope everyone has survived Black Friday as well! Anyways, I’ve been going through a lot lately, but u was able to finish the book. It broke my heart and I was actually crying a bit when the father passed. All in all, I love this book! It is definitely a novel that I will recommend to anyone who asks me for a good book
yes it made me really sad that the father passed away. I really wish the author told us what happened to the boy after he went with that family it made me want to know if they were good people or not.

The book the Road was a very good book. I wasn't so sure I would like it but it was the best book we have read all semester. The ending of the book was very sad i was hoping that the father and son would have found a place where they could live forever. I'm kind of looking forward to watching the movie but I'm not looking forward to the gross parts.

As much as I was dreading this book, I’m glad we started it! The book so far is really good, i wasn’t expecting it to be like this. The way that the book is constructed is great. I never noticed how weird it is to not have chapters, yet it doesn’t even bother me. Plus only having 2 characters to worry about it pretty nice considering “A visit from the goon squad” who had like 45.Â

The book the road is very interesting. I really have enjoyed the book so far it isn't like any other book we have read so far. It's very easy to read and follow. I love that it only has two main character's to remember unlike a visit from the goon squad which had too many characters. I'm really looking forward to finishing this book and watching the movie.

As I finished a visit from the goon squad I must say the book was very difficult to read. It was very confusing and I really didn't understand it to well. So this book was my least favorite book that we have read. I am really looking forward to reading the next book I have heard it was a really good book. I hope it is much less confusing then a visit from the goon squad.

A visit from the goon squad was really boring in the beginning. When I started reading the book I didn't think I would like it. But I really liked learning about the different characters and how they delt with their problems. Some of the book was confusing to me and I really didn't understand it. But overall the book is turning out to be pretty good.

Imago was kinda interesting considering I really didn't understand it fully. I thought it was strange that he had 5 parents. I think I would understand it more if I had read the whole book not just a excerpt. Generation X was difficult to interesting. When the two sisters told the father they wouldn't travel back with him and the other sister did go back to earth with him even though she knew she would die. It was kinda of a sad book. I enjoyed both of the books.

The book definitely had a strange ending from what I was expecting! But I enjoyed this book a lot better. Throughout the whole book the title was used and had me wondering where was this taking us? What did this title have tied into the book? It had a lot of symbolic value once the book began on its way. I like how finally we figured out what the key went too. But at the same time I was disappointed that it wasn’t something big or crazy it was just the safe box.
Yes I agree I was disappointed that the key didn't open something big like I thought it would. And the title being used over and over in the book made me wonder why the author kept using it. The book over all was good but the I have to agree the ending was different than I expected. #10/10/14

Extremely loud and incredibly close was a very good book I really enjoyed it. I was kinda disappointed that the key didn't go to anything big. And I was surprised that it wasn't oskars dad's key I really thought he left it for oskar. Over all I think this is my favorite book that we have read so far.

Extremely loud and incredibly close has been really interesting to me. This book I actually like. The key makes me wanna keep reading so I can find out what it goes to. The book is also heart breaking because of the little boy lost his dad in 9-11. I really want to see the movie after reading this book.

Yes shiloh was kinda of hard to understand. I was really confused when reading that story. I really enjoyed the holocaust comic strip it was a different way of learning about the holocaust.

I thought maus was pretty interesting. I like how the comic was cats and mouses it gives it a different perspective on how hitler went after the jews, just like a cat would go after a mouse. I don't really like comics that much but this one was very interesting to me and I really enjoyed it.
