Summary:

Lila's threat is slowly coming to fruition. Mme. Bustier's class has isolated Marinette and, while the rumors and bullying hurt, she doesn't expose the liar. That's what Adrien asked of her, and she keeps her promise, all the while praying that something would change.

But by chance while listening to music while working on homework, a song from an American musical leads her to ask for help, and discover that she's a lot less helpless against Lila than she thought.

Inspired by I'd Rather Be Me from Mean Girls.

In which Sabine and Tom take action to help their daughter, Adrien realizes he messed up, Caline misinterprets some things but tries, Chloé just wants Lila to stop, and Marinette is just kinda along for the ride.

There will be salting of Alya, Mme. Bustier, and Lila in here, a dusting for Nino and Adrien, and a pinch for the class.

Marinette’s eyes widened as Chat began pulling dozens of small gifts out of the dufflebag and piling them hastily onto her bed. A box of chocolates, a small cat plush, some Dvds, a tub of ice cream… good grief was that a jewelry box?

“Chat what are you doing? What is all of this?” Marinette gaped in stupefied wonder at the pile of goodies. It was like he had sat down with a list of every Rom-com cliché that you could purchase at a department store.

“I didn’t know what you wanted!” He shouted, clearly embarrassed by his ignorance. “If you upset a girl you have to buy her things, and I didn’t know what to get you!”

Summary:

(bits and pieces from a salt-heavy AU I made on my Tumblr)

Immediately after the events of "Oblivio," discussion is brewing over the photo of Ladybug and Chat Noir kissing, with Alya excitedly soaking it all in. However, not all opinions are positive, and once Marinette takes Ladybug's side in the debate, the class ends up dividing itself on the matter completely.

Questions are asked, seats are changed, and Marinette gets an idea of her own: if no one else will step up for Ladybug, she will, and she'll make a blog herself in order to do so.

As friends come and go, a crush is crushed, new heroes are considered, and Marinette is able to clear her mind to focus on the more important things in her life.
