Happy Halloween 🎃 !
you think it can’t get better, but it does. sound on.
ITS SPOOPY SEASON BABEEEEEEEEEYY
IT’S BACK!!! YAAAAAY!!!
-You’re taking notes?
Fanart to Kroniky prachu (Animant Crumbs Staubchronik) by Lin Rina again. Mr. Reed was telling Animant what duties is she gonna have as an assistant and is surprised to find out Animant is taking notes. I like how it turned out, at least the two of them, the background is rather wonky, on the other hand it is there so… win win I think :). (because rows of books again, yeah. Delight, haha). Drawn with (surprise surprise!) Derwent Inktense again and reference pictures by @jookpubstock (several pictures so I can’t quite point at just one lol)
And another fanart from Kroniky prachu (Animant Crumbs Staubchronik) by Lin Rina. (and it seems it’s not the last one either :) ). In the book this is such a nice and lovely and awww scene, unfortunately I wasn’t able to transfer it into the drawing. I almost gave up during the sketching when I realized it but then I took it as a practice of a not-so-usual-for-me poses and point of view etc. and finished it. Even with the background. Ha. Anyway - again there’s too much related to this to explain it all, but at least simply said what’s going on - Mr. Reed came to breakfest in dining room in the staff building - unexpectably because he usually doesn’t go to breakfest there and moreover he came to sit with Animant (I said there’s too much related things around lol) so she’s all unsetteld and embarrassed, while Mr. Reed is surprised how much food he got for breakfest. Drawn with Derwent Inktense and ref pics (one for each of them :) ) again by @jookpubstock

Happy 10th anniversary to Gravity Falls!
Of course, it’s not just the 10th Anniversary of Gravity Falls – it’s Stan and Ford’s birthday, as well! Despite that other project monopolizing my time, I didn’t want to miss doing a piece for this occasion. So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our favorite grunkles! Here, a return to Glass Shard Beach; and wearing their kid outfits, for good measure.
HAPPY 10th ANNIVERSARY TO GRAVITY FALLS!
Back in Oct. 2018, my project for inktober was at least one pic from every episode. Because of the pace, there were restrictions; I did each on a post-it note, limited coloring, and chose things that would fit the square format and that I could get done in time (between working full-time and owl-banding most nights). I always sort of wanted to redo a bunch of those; but really, what occasion would merit putting in THAT much time and effort for a project of that size?
Well, how about for the 10th anniversary of the premiere of Gravity Falls?
I’m not saying this was a *smart* project to tackle, but I thought it might be “easier” because I had first drafts of most of the pieces; I just wanted to redo them so they’d look better, with 4 more years of practice under my belt and a new move to digital art. (Narrator: it was not really easier.) Some I redid completely, or did new to create the full sets above. Basically, once I’d hit on this idea, and decided to link it to the refrain of “How Far We’ve Come”, I was committed; there was no way I was going to *not* try to do it.
I know that “How Far We’ve Come” gets fanvidded for eight billion different shows. But, the first time I heard the song was in one of the first Gravity Falls fanvids I ever watched (link below), so it will always be a GF song for me.
Gravity Falls has meant a lot to me for the past 6 years that I’ve been active in the fandom. I have no doubt it will always have a big place in my heart. I’m definitely not done with things I’d like to do for it. I’m so glad to see people coming together to celebrate this big anniversary!
ALSO: needless to say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Stan and Ford!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Goodbye to 2021. I don’t think anyone will miss you. A cautious greeting to 2022. You’re on probation.
I realized today that I had nothing to show for December, art-wise. I wanted to mark the end of the year somehow, and I needed to get back into the swing of drawing, too. So, a small offering. (Tumblr will not show it was posted in 2021, but I’ll know.)
May the new year be better for all of us!

Due to the late start in setting up this year (sorry!), the Suggestion Box for Stanuary 2022 themes will be posted on Sunday, December 12th, at 5pm EST.
In addition, there will be a slight change to the form to accommodate this shortened timeline. The Suggestion Box form will be closed after the first 35 unique themes are submitted, and each person will only be able to submit up to 3 themes.
Please wait until the form is posted to send in your suggestions, as ideas sent in early through asks, reblogs, or replies will not be counted. After the form is closed, a poll will be posted to vote for the 4 winning themes.

Fall in Gravity Falls
My piece for the Gravity Falls Road Trip Zine!
I decided to show the Pines on a trip to the desert southwest – in this case Arches National Park – on the hunt for local cryptids. I am very fond of jackalopes – and I’m sure Mabel is, as well. :)
I looked at a whole bunch of photos from Arches NP to put this together, but in the end didn’t depict one specific place. The arch is sort of based on Landscape Arch, but the background is more generic.
Loved the idea of this zine, and all the various places folks picked to have the Pines family visit! And thanks once again to everyone who contributed by paying for a copy!
We are now able to post our entries for the @roadtripzine
So here is mine!
Gotta say, it was a blast to work on these,I drew as far as possible from my comfort zone (and it kinda shows XD) but I can say it satisfied me to the fullest and it helped me improve in a way
There are some things I would have fixed, but it doesn't matter, I am still super satisfied with the results and I wouldn't turn back on anything
My Road Trip Zine Piece!
Woo! I can finally share this!! The idea here is that the next summer, do to poor planning, Stan and Ford won’t be able to make it to Oregon by the time summer starts. But they were able to make it to the East coast! Dipper and Mabel’s parents agreed to fly the kids out to meet up with them and they would use a portion the summer exploring the country as they made their way to Gravity Falls. This is a scrapbook page that Mabel put together of their journey
I absolutely love how this came out!
