Welcome! This is the home of Snaily Comics! Basically, this blog will contain all of my OC work, studies, drawing challenges, maybe some writing and the occasional major fan work project.

My main blog is @wizardinahole, there you can find all of my fan art and other junk.

I’ll chuck some details for navigating the blog below the cut :^)

It might take some time to start posting here regularly, I’m a master procrastinator.

I have a few major universes in the works,here’s a little rundown and how I’ll tag them

#Starhopper and The Albatross: a superhero story. Set in a post apocalyptic world, in the aftermath of bringing down the tyrannical mega corporation that had been controlling society, the heroes who restored freedom face the challenges of rebuilding. Leah (Starhopper), a young superhero, who was even younger when she took down Midas Industries, is trying to make up for lost time, while also carrying a great burden of leadership and sense of responsibility for constructing the new society. Andy (The Albatross), a vigilante with a proficiency for explosives, always operated more in the shadows, has taken a step back from the action hero life and is focusing on his engineering exploits. And, Sam and Lou, a scientist and her giant snail monster, travelling through the ravaged landscape working to restore the environment as best she can, and grappling with her own sense of responsibility as she grows weary, unsure if she can bring herself to retire and enjoy her old age.

#Conan’s Story: still unamed, but a fantasy world in which ‘a chosen one’ is prophesied… sort of. The chosen one himself, Conan, is not too happy about this, while he has a destined quest to complete and the world to save, he refuses to leave his workshop. The threat of a treason charge, however, gets the old blacksmith on the road to seek out his destiny, stuck with two plucky young adventures, Caleb the dress maker’s apprentice and Milo, the daughter of the stable owner, and facing the memories of 30 years ago, the last time there had been a chosen one, and all the horrors that followed.

#Crash-landing: another post apocalyptic sci-fi, a father and his young daughter, take in a wounded wasteland scavenger after his ship crashed and his crew was lost. Together, the three try to find a way to off their planet, to the find the colony ships that had left before everything went to shit.

#snail trails: misc characters and stories, mostly dnd characters (or theoretical dnd characters, cause i usually end up as the dm), and other studies etc.

Honestly it’s great that the impending art fight has made me finally sit down and draw his ref sheet

And the prep for art-fight begins! Shearwater is one of my oldest but favourite ocs. Is she a pirate? A sea farer with a fancy sword ? Who knows. I think I originally drew her in like, 2020-2021? I know it was before I had a proper drawing program and used Microsoft Paint-3D.

I’m hoping to make some comics with her when I have some more time because she’s super fun to draw, but we’ll see.
