I need your help!

I've been thinking about Ask Fives/Fives State of Mind AU, and wondering if I should do something with this universe before hosting another advice column. I don't think I'd host another event until the end of the year, given how much time and effort it takes to run it. I also want the events to feel special, rather than happening all the time.

However, I am missing this AU. There's something so cathartic and silly and fun writing as Advice Columnist Fives and giving you updates on The Dominocile and his tauntaun children.

So, I'm thinking of doing something in the meantime. What that something is, I have no idea.

That's where you come in!

This AU is the people's AU. While it's something I've started, it is only what it is because of how you have all shaped it. I've got a few ideas of what to do, but I need your help deciding.

I think it would be cute to have Fives’ point of view about his Tauntaun children but also combining with a fic of the children. So like maybe their school days or summer vacation or birthday party and then we read about Fives’ POV on what the kids did or got or things they got him (Like Father’s Day).

Cutup Deserved Better

Cutup is the textbook definition of a wasted character in canon, and I will not shut up about it.

His completely unexplained unique accent we never once heard from any other clone. His status as the upbeat jokester of the Domino squad. His dignity and guts standing up to Bric, emerging with his name from the incident (heck, that scene is probably what solidified the whole “earning his name is a big moment for a clone” thing, in both canon and fanon). His care for his brothers–running up to check on Droidbait when he fell, and then later on Rishi, opening the grate and ushering the others outside to (sadly temporary) safety.

Y'all know I have a soft spot for Cutup, and basically consider him my favorite clone (though I love a WHOLE BUNCH of them), but still… even if he wasn’t, I think I’d still feel this way somewhat. It is utterly infuriating that the Clone Wars writers created such a lovable and memorably quirky clone character, and then unceremoniously threw him away in less than two episodes, in one of the series’ most gruesome and upsetting deaths to boot.

I don’t like thinking about it when I don’t have to. In my own little imagination (+fanart and fanfic) AU, Cutup lived to laugh again, as did all of his beloved Domino brothers. 💖
