hi. please help me fend off my evil mom.

I am a disabled adult and live at my parents' home. they are both abusive but usually mom is ok enough that I can make it. yesterday I was driving her car and swerved to avoid a construction worker, clipping a mailbox and damaging the car mirror. because of this, mom is livid with me, and is demanding I pay upfront for the repair, which she has quoted to me as costing $1000 (which I have doubts about but nonetheless that's the amount she expects from me and I have no say in the matter. wheee)

my disability income is a little over $1000 a month, and I have expenses of my own to worry about. I pay for my own groceries, I have pets to care for, I'm in the process of replacing all my clothes because none of them fit due to the steroids I took for a year causing my weight to fluctuate, etc. I also pay my parents rent out of my meager paycheck. this month I have $250 left for the whole month and I haven't paid rent yet. and there is a (mandatory. bcus yknow. abusive parents) family vacation this month and I need clothes that fit for that (that and the pets needing new supplies and tools is most of the reason the money went that quickly). basically I'm f'ed right now

I hate hate HATE doing this so much. but I think I need help
