I find it very interesting that, technically, the Web didn't need to do all of that in cannon. Like, yes, if there was an apocalypse without all that preparation, all the Fears would die out, but that's if there was one. And there could always be another in the new universe, or they die/warp on their trip. So, instead, it could have just, stopped the apocalypse from happening every time? Which would really not be as often as you'd think. But it didn't do that. Because it's a Fear. And it wanted a taste of that Constant Dread, just like the rest of them.
i feel like my username is too... small. or it needs a Big letter somewhere. it looks strange.
considering the (relative) popularity of this post, im just gonna test the waters real quick:
Saw this song from Rabbitology on Youtube and was reminded of Agnes... so I drew this?
Not %100 satisfied with her design, but I did this quickly so that's as good as it's going to be.
I'm bored so we're all gonna be sad again with a little doodle.
Spoilers for both tma and also @polysyndetonaddictsupportgroup's fic nhthcth up to chapter 24.
I love how large bodies of water can be used for any Fear.
Obviously the ocean is wide and expansive but it's also drowning you and if you go deep enough the pressure starts suffocating you and it's also dark down there and your body seems to move on instinct and you can't control it and you don't know where you are or where you're going but also there's nobody else anywhere but what if there was and they see you drowning but don't help or something inhuman and terrifying is there with you and it stares at you or what if you can tell it's chasing you or it suddenly attacks you or what if there is nothing at all because everything and everyone is dead or you were on a ship and it sunk and killed your family/friends and destroyed your stuff or you start getting chewed up by a ton of small fish that leave you alive but in so much pain or the water is disgusting and filled with bacteria and now you're filled with bacteria or you find another survivor but they don't look quite right or you die.
You understand :)
A character animatic from me?? It's more likely than you think.
I know it's cannon that Jon didn't get extra real "human" eyes. But. I like the idea that he has eight eyes. Because.
Like this kinda ->
I like the whole "bound by [unseen] webs" imagery. I think it's neat :] I want to do more with it. I have many flavors of the same idea. Here's one:
Uhhh. It turned out better than I thought it would but worse than I hoped + some changes bc I have limits to what looks good enough. Nice middle ground. Hope you get the vision.
I can't recall if it was ever mentioned, but I've been wondering; what happened to the people already in "domains" when the eye-pocalypse started? What about when the Fears were banished?
Like, they were suffering, for sure, but was that their worst fear? Did it become their worst fear over time? Did they think they were getting 'saved' from it, either through death or somehow being let out, just to be tossed into their actual worst fear? One they didn't even know they had?
And like; I'm pretty sure it was mentioned that those fear areas, like the coffin or I think the Vast place too, don't allow people to die normally, because they're the literal, tangible Fear. So...
do they age, still?
Was Fiona [and everyone else] stuck there for years, and then to the next great fear, just to escape and die? Or not die but be so much older than when they entered? Or not escape at all. And be placed back where they were, dragged through the rift to the next universe (the tmagp universe?) to suffer more? If they never left, could they tell? If they did experience a different domain for a while, how would that leave them feeling?
What about people who were being eaten? By the Distortion (Helen!!) or one of the Stranger's minions or literally anything. Did they just get thrown in that Avatar or Fear's domain? What if that wasn't their greatest fear? Did they escape one hell for another? Did they get live after the fears left? Do they consider themselves lucky in what happened because of that? Obviously what happened was bad; but if it didn't; they'd be dead. Are the people who know them slightly greatful for it, just because that person was still alive? If that person hurt them, do they hate it more?
ALSO! What happened to the avatars when the connection to their patron was severed? Annabelle said most would just lose their power, but Jon, had he still been just the Archivist (we don't know how being the pupil affected that, thought that was probably still a part of the plan), would have become what he thought of himself (a monster????) and she, and presumably Avatars closer to her level of connection to their Fear(?), would either die or follow the Fears.
I wonder which happened.
Weird headcanon (?) (idea?) (concept?) that season 4 Jon had to close his eyes to read books bc otherwise he would Know too much about it to enjoy it, but closing his eyes, the Beholding can only let him Know the words on the page.
Ehhh these ones are kinda ugly- but I'm still trying to draw Gerry!
Ft. My random change in art style!!
Trying to do more art [especially fan art I want to post] so obviously I should try to draw the podcast character(s) that don't have cannon designs!! xD
If they look weird or whatever is not anatomically correct, thats on my lack of art skills /silly
...😶i forgot his eye tattoos😶...
HOW DID I MANAGE THAT??? (っ╥﹏╥ ς)
......just imagine that they're there xL

When first listening to mag 111 and 117, did anyone else think that there was gonna be some terrible consequence for burning Gerry's page inside the institute? Specifically in the Archives? Like Gerry's ghost was gonna be bound there or something? Or was that just me? Also, a whole month, Jon?? xD
Did Jon dream of Gerry's Statment during that time between meeting him and burning his page? Did it not happen because he was "dead"? Did Jon know it really killed him after he stopped dreaming about him? ...hmm...
