Dec. 8 - Besides baseball, which other vampire-level sport have the Cullens tried out? How do they modify it to be more challenging/fun?

HOCKEY 🏒 🥅

Definitely hockey. Their location is ideal in Forks and I would imagine most if not all of their locations throughout life have a pretty solid winter season. It's competitive and physical. Emmett and Rosalie would thrive, Alice and Jasper would be all about finesse. Carlisle and Edward would be the smartest players on the ice. Esme and Bella would just have a lot of fun with it, and Esme would keep an eye out to make sure they weren't cheating.

So all in all, it's cold. They could play at night if need be. There's no waiting around for thunderstorms, although they could have some big collisions. So yeah, definitely hockey.

“Carlisle,” Esme murmured, fingers running through his hair. He hummed in acknowledgment into her chest. “I love you but -” 

“Shh,” he tried to put a finger over her mouth but refused to lift his head so ended up shushing her forehead. 

“I was reading before we… and I’m not complaining because I much preferred you over reading but now that we’re done, I did, uhm, leave off at a critical plot point.” 

“Are you telling me to leave so you can get back to reading?” She could feel his frown against her chest. 

“No! No. I need you to get my book. I can’t reach.” 

She had been trying to reach the discarded mass market paperback without disturbing him for the past ten minutes, convinced she was Sisyphus it remained just two inches out of reach. 

He finally looked up at her. “If I give you the book we can stay like this?” 

“For as long as you want,” Esme smiled, pressing a kiss to his forehead. He sighed but still leaned down and grabbed her book. 

He looked it over as he passed it to her, his eyebrow quirked at the cover. “A Quick Bite?” He questioned, that dumb boyish smirk she saw far not enough on his face at the what he would consider salacious cover. She refrained from pointing out that for someone who enjoyed making fun on her fondness of romance novels he sure did not complain when he reaped the benefits. 

“Shush,” she admonished, grabbing the book out of his hands with feigned annoyance. 

“I didn’t know you had such a type, Mrs. Cullen,” he laughed, resting his head back on her sternum, arms squeezing around her.
