You know Sega has those mandates about sonic being unable to cry / show extreme emotions?

I hc that those are restrictions Sonic puts on HIMSELF in-universe. So while he may not show those emotions, he does FEEL them and is actively bottling them up. People will panic if Sonic, savior of the planet, starts getting nervous and he knows that. It's not gonna backfire anytime soon ;)
