POINT OF ORDER: blue goldstone is not a rock. It is glass with copper inclusions and that makes it even more awesome because we are NEVER going to run out of it, and it’s not mined and it is so amazing to work with if you’re devoted to Urania. Similarly red goldstone is an AMAZING Prometheus stone, because using fire to make it.

Also, because it contains metal, goldstone conducts energy beautifully. I’ve only worked extensively with blue, but it holds a charge nicely - but not excessively because the copper conducts it away. If you have difficulty with energy balance I recommend trying to get your hands on a goldstone sphere (because spheres are a special shape).

The one thing I love about goldstone in any form is that it is made from quartz glass. So even though its glass is make up is quartz and copper; and whatever coloring they use for green and blue goldstone!

It’s also sometimes called “monk’s stone” because it is told that monks were the first to create this by accidentally dumping copper shavings in molten glass they were working with. Who knows if it’s true but its interesting, none the less.
