When Tragedy Strikes the Media
Common people become irrationally afraid, they feel unsafe in their homes, they become less trusting of strangers. They grow to hate the perpetrator, they want him to die, to be jailed for life, they want him to burn in Hell. They blame things, they blame video games, they blame guns, laws, Satan. "Who is he to ruin the lives of the 'normal' people!?" They care, they mourn, but only for a while. It didn't happen to them.
It could. But no one bothers to understand. They want to ban video games, they want to ban guns. They don't understand that that will do nothing. They don't understand why the perp did what he did. They just say he's crazy. Evil. But one, poor, lonely guy. One misunderstood soul. One outcast, one abused child. He watches and sees a chance for attention. A chance for glorification. A chance to make his mark in society. The "normal" people have fucked him for too long. He watches. He's inspired. Crazy? He's not crazy, was he born a killer? Then what turned him? He could've been abused at home by an equally "crazy" parent. He didn't have the same interests as the "normal" kids. He grew up, being placed in an anti-social light...and grows to want to change the world. By tearing apart the society that tore him apart. So who's the real killer? The murderer? Or the "normal" people who didn't bother to understand him? To love him? Who's the killer? Who, in the aftermath of tragedy, stops bothering to find a solution? It's not MY problem. It's the government's problem. The school's problem. Nature's problem. Who's the killer? Us.
What were you complaining about again?

Today, a young man on acid realised that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves... here's Tom with the weather

"Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens."
Carl Gustav Jung
It’s beautiful. A billion souls walk under it every single day & don’t even bother to look up & wonder what’s out there. There’s so much we still haven’t learned. So much that the scientists won’t even figure out in your life time, & its your job to wonder, to dream, & to try & find the mysteries behind all that lies in your path. Next time you’re outside in the middle of the night, look up. Wonder what’s out there.
