I miss when it was just black people who knew about the word woke
I remember when woke was the trendiest, hottest new term white liberals had gotten their hands on and gentrified... such distant memories now
Liberals are very much guilty of bastardizing woke too but let's not forget woke was first co opted by white conservatives as a pejorative term to disparage anything remotely helpful to or created by black people. What started off in the black community to mean to stay politically conscious basically turned into the conservative politically correct n word and the rest is annoying irritating getting on my nerves history
