Prayer connects us to the realm of God's Presence
Since the outbreak of the pandemic disease, COVID19, our church came up with the different programs to continue evangelizing the people.
With the social-distancing policy that the authorities including the Government and Medical Practitioners advised, sharing the words of God through social media platforms has been one of our ways to reach so many people around the globe.
And as of today, as we continue to seek the help of the Lord through prayers, our pastor, Bishop Ferriol, has mentioned the power of prayers in times of crisis - just like what we have today. One of the emphasis of his message today is about how prayers connects us to God's Holy Presence.
His talk actually reminds me of the very first day when I chose to walk differently on the path I used to take. Choosing to make an impact and create a difference takes courage, and during those time, I remembered pleading to God to guide me and show me the way that I should take, and He never failed me.
I was reluctant back then, yes. I don't know where He was pointing me to go. But I chose to follow His lead. And now I must say that I don't regret doing so.
This is the message my friend, that during this time of crisis, we always have this shield that we can always use, a prayer. A prayer that will connect us to Him, a prayer that will help us deliver our requests and supplications. And doing this diligently with sincerity and faith, God is not unrighteous to forget. He knows what He's doing. He knows better than anyone else.
"If you want to seek God diligently, Make your supplication to the Almighty. If you were pure and upright, Surely now he would awaken for you, And make the habitation of your righteousness prosperous. Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would greatly increase. (Job 8:5-7)"
