I thought I could make it all go away
Behold: her.
Here’s a 5 page comic about a weird project I spent the last month working on 🪲
I think I get it now. This obsession with everything Hobonichi. The smoothness of the paper, the compactness of the book… Oh, and the fact that the pages get louder as I fill them with words and silly little drawings? I’m afraid I’m team Hobonichi now.
This purchase wasn’t planned. I didn’t even have a good use for it when I bought it back in November, but it’s since become my little dreambook - not a dream diary, but a place for dream images and daydreams, thoughts on media and reflections on things that make me feel something.
Finally got to redecorate the cover today. I love how the dark grey looks with gold, and how it completes my Midori B6 Slim planner/bullet journal both aesthetically and functionally.
I am sooo normal about these plastic animal figurines

the therapeutic act of covering a page with stickers 🍅 i had some doubts about this one, but i love how it came out!

I’ve been testing out a Hobonichi Weeks-type layout in my Midori MD B6 Slim over the past month. Having gone through a few iterations, I have now arrived at what seems to be working really well - a layout with space for weather-tracking and micro-journaling on the left and habit tracking + Alastair method task list on the right.
I also seem to have put together a set of stationary which I’m truly happy with (yes, most of it is from Flying Tiger); it strikes a perfect balance between being portable and giving me some fun options to play with.
I’m afraid I have officially become a stamp girlie - there is something so calming about the repetition of images and the fact that unlike stickers, they never run out.
