I was made for sunny days I was made to do grey but I didn't stay (at Jardin de Miramar Antipolo)

A Taho Love Affair So I've been craving taho (soy bean curd?) these past few days. I'd run down with a cup in my hands hoping to see a taho vendor. Lessons Learned from chasing the taho man for 3 days. Day 1) Goes down around 8 PM "Kuya iwan ko po yung mug ko dito ha. Baka may dumaan na taho" "Ay sa umaga lng yan sila. walang taho sa gabi" Pointed si Kuya. Day 2) "May naririnig ako taho dw" runs down in the middle of the night "baka balut yun. Lang taho sa gabi" Paulit ulit din?! Day 3) "Meron kaya ngayon kuya?" Stares at watch - time check 9:50 AM "Naku hanggang 9 sa umaga lng yan sla" So lang taho pag pumatak ng 10? Expectations. So it's true. May kasabihan na 'Don't expect anything because it can lead to disappointment.' Meron din kasabihan na 'Not expecting anything is the most rewarding feeling in the world' Day 4) Just arrived at home. Looks at the time 8:30. Looks at mug 'wala na nmang taho nito. :( ' Prepares to go to sleep. 5 mins after 'Taho tahooooo' Jumps out of bed, picks up the mug and runs down the stairs. 'Kuya pabili po.' Finally. That feeling. That satisfaction. That excitement. That tinge of happiness. Simple joys. Simple joys indeed. :)
