found this on reddit thought id post it here too 👍
I think this explains a lot of trans discourse on here, too. Well, a lot of queer culture generally. Realizing you’re personally trans doesn’t mean all the dumb gender stuff you were raised with goes “poof” and vanishes from your mind. Until you put in the work, you’ve still got all the old crap in there, it just has a big “but trans!” sticker slapped on it.
i need white people to understand that the reason that we are here in nazi america today is because many of you cannot comprehend liberation for all because of your distaste for some.
the lack of actively dismantling your anti-blackness means that you are passively participating in white supremecy.
i hope a ceiling fan falls on the empty spot in the bed next to you and it starts understanding your needs
this post always makes me so emo... here's me next to my ceiling fan that i turned off for the first time in months to draw
stop reblogging this post without the art this is the only version that exists now
#Make Racists Scared Again 2026
Share if you want people to know they should be scared to be racist around you 👊🏾
“You are so brave and quiet I forget you are suffering.”
— Ernest Hemingway
Seeing people I know and like using AI is making me understand the protagonists of those old time sci fi dystopia's.
"Oh I don't normally use AI, I just wanted it to plan my trip"
You lived on this planet for decades, you know what you like, there are hundreds of websites where you can type into any search engine " things to do in [area]" and have at least a hundred different options.
"Oh I only use it so I can figure out what to make during the week with what I have"
The most popular website as you type in "recipes" into google have sections where you click dinner- quick and easy and those usually rely on staples + 1 or 2 items. I found 30 recipes on chicken alone.
"I had a writing idea, so I typed a few sentences into Chat GPT and I was able to write 20 pages with it."

adults every generation when the children that were born 10 years ago don't know what was going on 15 years ago
"my 10 year old doesn't know what CDs are!"
have you told her what a CD is? do you use CDs? has she ever seen one? then how the fuck is she going to know what a CD is. are you fucking stupid. im going to kill you
"my son tried to introduce me to Green Day's music after finding it out on youtube" he knew about Green Day for one day and immediately told you about it but you let that young boy reach puberty without telling him about the best worst pop punk band of all time. i am on his side.

People say "if you don't embrace AI then you'll be left behind."
Leave me, then.
Leave me with my critical thinking skills.
Leave me with my artistry.
Leave me with my creativity.
Leave me with my literacy.
Leave me with my connections to real people.
Leave me with my ability to learn.
Leave me with my ability to think for myself.
Leave me with my ability to be myself.
And when your AI crashes and burns, I will leave you with the wreckage of what you once relied on to do everything for you.
"slut era" i say as i rot and decay in my bedroom and watch the years pass me by as i miss out on core experiences other people my age are having while i think about the past

I’ve been thinking a lot about this tag lately, which encompasses so much context in three little words.
You’re exactly right @magicmumu2. I’ve been fascinated in the way that desirable femininity has been portrayed in old Hollywood and how it was systemically withheld from fat black women. Despite emancipation being several decades before the 1930s, women that looked like me were erased of everything except our servitude. The closest it gets would be Lena Horne or Mae West but they’re both only checking half the box and in the lightest way (litcherally), at that. 80-90 years ago, I would only get to depict a maid, if the film wanted financial backing and wider distribution, at least. On occasion today, fat black women are portrayed as classic, glamorous beauties.
Needless to say, I’ve taken my image into my own hands. No mammies here.
