Absolutely haunting refrain of “Could be nice. Could be. Hands touch.” In ep7. Lestat clinging to Louis as the only thing that keeps him grounded in the midst of his own unraveling. Lestat believing Louis’ love is enough to redeem him, even as he is surrounded by the evidence of his failures. It’s really the Loustat of it all.

I genuinely don't understand why some people say that Armand's characterisation was ruined. You think Louis would have had that conversation with him if he wasn't on the brink of death?

Armand has manipulated and tortured countless people including Louis... it's not shocking that in this mind he had to torture Louis one last time because for him Louis has been torturing Armand since day one.

His nickname is the devil but he can't do evil things?

The last episode was cathartic for his character and I'm curious to see more of his development in the next season.
