Opinion on the DMC anime:

It was decent, its funny and gory at the same time, I agree with the frequent complain about Lady but all around, it was enjoyable.

One of the things I liked about is that Dante plays almost any stereotype you can imagine, he's overpowered by ancestry, he doesn't truly know his past, he's the main* comic relief, etc.

*some would argue that that is Enzo's role.

Another thing I found quite enjoyable is that it also stays accurate to the game with little details, Dante weilds the rebellion, Vergil is in his angelo form, and so much more.

It seems I've forgotten to upload my opinion on the Ithaca saga, first of all, I would like to say that it is my favorite saga, second of all, all of the songs in the saga are absolute perfection, now let me list out why all of them are such perfection;

1) the challenge: it gives us all the build up we need, it truly showcases the love that Penelope has for Odysseus, she is risking her life by lying to the suitors just so that he has more time, and even when she gives up hope, she proposes one last chance.

2) hold them down: the suitors are getting angry and impatient, they understand the true meaning of the challenge and they are about to do something about it. The song builds up the tension, you know something horrendous is about to happen and you pray that someone intervenes.(Also I really like the end part with antinous singing alongside the suitors)

3) Odysseus: we finally get a ruthless, bloodthirsty Odysseus, willing to strike down anyone who stands in-between him and his family, he unleashes his pent up rage from 20 years of mistakes and losses. He will not stop until his family is safe from all source of harm. Also I would like to mention the open arms part, not only is it one of the best parts of the song because it sound good, you must also think about the thoughts ody is having while the suitors is talking, he is a living projection of polites, and having to strike him down, seeing your best friend for twice, once by your hands.

4) I can't help but wonder: Odysseus, finally done with his journey, and he is reunited with his son, finally after 20 years, he can be at peace. Also, the Athena part, just Athena truly understanding that there does exist a way to be peaceful, but for Odysseus, it is simply too late.

5) would you fall in love with me again: the climax we've all been waiting for, Odysseus and Penelope finally reunited. Odysseus who is now a monster in his own eyes, doesn't believe the love between them can be the same, note that when he explains his past actions he regrets we get to hear the melodies of Poseidon, Zues and Scylla, but in the end their love is eternal and cannot be faltered by the 20 years they have spent apart.

Currently in love with aglaea's accent and voice, I am definitely getting her as soon as she come out.

Also, soem theories if y'all don't mind, phainon is just Kevin, he's not even a different person, he's just Kevin coming straight from Elysium. Especially with the knowledge that phainon isn't his true name as is declared in "as I've written".

Not the typical topic for this account but I just remembered that dizzy was added to ggst and I just listened to her new theme and honestly it slaps harder than I could have ever imagine, the fucking amazing instrumental start and the non-conventional tempo of the singing really makes it one of the best songs I've ever heard, daisuke ishiwatari is the goat.

I've just found some videos from a youtuber "broto swaggins" that are just Epic songs with unnecessary cencoring and I just imagine that these are the songs that play in aniflamma's manwhore au

Don't take this the wrong way, I love the vengeance saga songs and I love how much effort Jorge is putting into Epic but I just felt somewhat underwhelmed when first listening to the saga. Maybe it'll grow on me with time.

Anyways, updated rankings for the songs now that they came out (spoilers for vengeance saga):

1) Dangerous; was not expecting the wind bag to reappear, also, Hermes saying "I'm not the one who fought for you" feels really wholesome.

2) Six hundred strike; love the song, the insane start and the beatdown at the end. Kind of unfortunate how some of the song is not understandable if you aren't watching an animatic/the musical when it actually come out.

3) Charybdis; I really love the monster songs in epic, unfortunately, they feel very short, in summary; great song, would've loved if it was longer.

4) Get in the water; I don't really understand all the hype around the song, it sounds good but I don't really like it.

5) Not sorry for loving you; I love Calypso's vocals, I just prefer the other songs better.

In conclusion, the vengeance saga slaps, can't wait for Ithaca saga and then live performance musical.

Though I only joined the Epic community at the release of the underworld saga, my most looked for saga has to be the vengeance saga, only from the snippets I already fell in love with Dangerous and Charybdis, I simply cannot wait for the 31st.

Follow up to my last post, we know Hort was sacrificed by Odysseus, therefore he is either one of the six that was eaten by Scylla or killed by Zeus, either way, he deserved better.

Also I'd like to believe that he was the awesome kind of uncle which is why Hephaestus is so mad at Odysseus for his death
