A few custom pets for you today! I love making pets in full CAS mode because you can actually see what you’re doing, so I like to premake them sometimes and save the breeds so later on I can have my Sims adopt them when I need a pet. I thought I would share a few! Four in total - from the top we have:

-The Cocker Spaniel Mix (small dog). This is based on my mom’s real life puppy who is an American Cocker Spaniel x Shih Tzu (but he pretty much looks like his spaniel side).

-A Chimera cat - based on a cat I saw while scrolling through Facebook one day, so I saved the screenshot (this is how I get most of my pet and Sim making inspiration - saving screenshots of real pets and people!)

-A sort of mottled/calico Scottish fold. Again inspired by a real cat I saw on Instagram!

-A Blue Heeler (large dog), I made this one a while ago so I don’t honestly remember if I was trying to recreate the breed generally or a specific dog spotted on social media.

A few important notes and prerequisites:

I use lots of custom pet stuff by @kitteninthewindow and @deedee-sims  which you’ll need for these guys to show up properly!

-Pet coat colours (all the Pooklet naturals are required, I don’t use the unnaturals though)

-Custom pet markings - I mix and match a lot from a few different sets so just get all of these: 1 2 3 4 5 6

-I would recommend going through @kitteninthewindow‘s pet CC tag here and just.. get all of it! I don’t personally use anything that’s strictly fantasy colours/styles, but there are also mods for kitten and puppy eyes and coat markings which are important (there is more than one page so don’t miss anything!)

-Also the pet eye defaults I use are right here in case you want the exact same, otherwise they should just use your defaults or Maxis originals if that’s what you use.
